Sarah Whittle, Alan's love interest and a Jumanji player from Jumanji (1995), didn't appear on this show. She is the only major character from the movie to not appear.
Professor Ibsen was named after noted Norwegian writer Henrik Ibsen. His debut episode "The Master Builder" was named after an Ibsen play.
Trader Slick was intended to have a Bugs Bunny-like New York City accent.
In 2014 after the closure of Adelaide Productions, the rights are now held by Sony Pictures Animation.
