The movie contains too much French propaganda. The Alsatian don't feel like French, they feel like Alsatians. I live 15 miles away from Strasbourg, I have to know it. The movie starts in the year 1870 with The German-French War, but a important historical fact is missing: The Alsace was originally German from the Middle-Age up to Louis XIV, who conquered parts of this country. The citizens, villages and cities all have German names. A great actor in this series for me it's Stanislas Carre De Malberg who plays his role very well. The movie contains too much French propaganda.
