  Maeve : Oh, and you're such a big catch!

  Maeve : Oh, get real, guys.

  Sinbad : Come on, don't you guys have anything better to do?

  Doubar : Well, I guess we could get in the long boat and head back to the ship.

  [starts to push at the long boat and realizes he and Maeve are the only ones pushing] 

  Sinbad : Let's go, guys.

  Doubar : [Laughs]

• Maeve : Where have you been?

  Sinbad : We don't have time for the day's events!

• Sinbad : It's a sailor's secret.

  Maeve : I don't know, I've never been one for secrets. Have I Dermott?

• Sinbad : I love it when you do magic!

  Maeve : Back off with you. Attempt any trickery and Dermott will have your eyeballs in my hand before you've a time to blink.

  Maeve : Oh, I know what you wanted alright! Haven't I seen the likes of you in my life before. Sea faring men arriving in big ships and taking over any land and people they choose, by force.

  Sinbad : I just wanted to thank you for helping me.

  Maeve : Oh. Well, then why didn't you just say so in the first place? Have you not a tongue in your head?

• Doubar : So this is how it ends, little brother.

  Maeve : So long as we go out in a fight for a good cause.

  Firouz : The only way to go.

• Rumina : Such spirit. How mundane.

  Maeve : It's more than spirit and you know it.

  Rumina : I have no idea what you're talking about.

  Maeve : You don't remember me.

  Rumina : I meet many peasants in my line of work. I dispose of them all the same way.

• Rumina : Now you'll feel my wrath. You'll all feel my wrath!

  [Tries to zap the crew, but her powers fail] 

  Sinbad : Feeling any wrath yet?

  Maeve : No. But I'm down wind of something rotten.

• Maeve : [whispers]  There's danger here.

  Doubar : [whispers]  Aye, I don't need magic to tell me this isn't a very friendly place.

  Firouz : [in a normal volume]  We should be alright, as long as we keep our heads.

  Maeve : [whispers]  And our voices down!

• Sinbad : You don't have to come along, Maeve, if you don't want to. There is a strangeness about this place and we'll be slogging over rough terrain in this heat.

  Maeve : Isn't that just like a sailor, using chivarlry against me. I'm a part of this crew, aren't I. I pull my weight around here, don't I. I will not be left behind.

• Maeve : Go to Firouz, I'll take the tiller.

  Doubar : Awe, the heck with it. Take the tiller, see what I care. Women are taking over the world anyway.

• Sinbad : There's something about that man I really don't like.

  Maeve : He's sensitive, poetic, knows how to treat a woman with respect. Course you don't like him.

• Maeve : What do you want me to do? You can't just point your finger at the thing and yell 'stop' and it stops!

  [giant freezes] 

  Sinbad : Nice work.

  Maeve : Oh, well maybe you can.

• Maeve : I'm not sure I like this.

  Sinbad : You say that everytime we make an uncharted stop.

  Maeve : Yeah and with good reason.
