La seconda volta speaks about a woman who after shooting a professor in the head and spending 10 years in prison comes out, tries to get back to having a normal life again, gets a new job and starts living in her own apartment. Her attempts to forget about her past are not as satisfactory as she wished they would be after she meets the person she had shot 10 years ago. What I found interesting is that the man who failed miserably in his life because of the accident, tries to put all the fault for that on the woman and when he finally has the chance to meet her again he believes he can solve all his problems only by accusing her for what had happened. The realization of the fact that there's nothing that can be done now, gives a sad tone to this very "down-to-earth" movie. The contrast between the idealist woman that spent most of her youth in prison and the nihilist professor and the close look that this movie takes on how historical events can affect an individuals' life are the two main reasons I would suggest this film.
