The Martin Short Show was genius. It only lasted three episodes, but it was very clever and funny. I liked the blending of sketch comedy and sitcom. The Steve Martin episode was the funniest of them all, who can forget when Steve was going after Short's wife (played by Jan Hooks) and playing that ridiculous song on the piano: "I love to love you, strange as it may seem..." I know there are at least 4 episodes of this show. I remember reading a plot description of an episode in TV guide which did not match the 3 aired episodes, and, The Martin Short Show was canceled before this fourth episode ever aired. I wonder how many total unaired episodes that there are? I hope this entire series is released on DVD someday, I would love to see the unaired episodes, however many there may be. It's good to see that people still appreciate this show, the fact several reviews have been written about this show on this website over ten years after it was canceled proves it. The Martin Short Show was an excellent program.

"Pendarbis"

This short 3-episode show was really hilarious. Martin Short frequently admitted on the show that it was cheap, pointing out that they couldn't afford film, only video tape to record it on. The film quality did look pretty amateur on the skits, which really made the show. Anyone that has the show taped, or knows anything about "Pendarbis" from the show, please email me! A must see for anyone who hasn't...
