When Meghan Crumpler first appeared on Too Large, she was almost up to 500 lbs. After receiving bariatric surgery and going on to star in 1000-Lb Best Friends, she’s lost a significant amount of weight. However, she’s been struck around the 300 lb mark for the last few years.
This season, she’s asking Dr. Procter to do a revision surgery with her. In exchange, he wants her to lose 30-40 more lbs. But many viewers don’t think that will ever happen unless Meghan gets more help.

What’s better than seeing your favorite sitcom characters shed their hum-drum outfits and status quo subplots for the theatrical costumes and hair-raising horror that only comes with Halloween? From “Freaks and Geeks” and “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” to “Parks and Recreation” and “Bob’s Burgers,” the best TV comedies celebrate October 31 with seasonal half-hours that inspire as much festive fun as they do nail-biting fear.
The most memorable Halloween sitcom episodes go beyond tossing pumpkins at the set dressing and instead dig deep to figure out what the annual celebration of things that go bump in the night might really mean to their characters. Stand-out shows find ways to bring specificity to their Halloween renderings, carefully considering everything from the narratively powerful meaning (or dramatically ironic coding!) behind characters’ costumes to the range of All Hallows’ Eve settings that can fit a story best.

Streaming service Max offers content from HBO, Discovery Channel, Cartoon Network, Warner Bros Pictures and other Warner Bros Discovery-owned brands.
Sling TV customers have access to HBO’s multiplex of channels once again after the Echostar-owned streaming service announced a deal to offer Max to its subscribers.
Starting this week, Sling TV customers can purchase the ad-free version of Max for $17 per month, unlocking access to hit shows and movies like “Game of Thrones,” “Succession,” “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver,” “Real Time with Bill Maher,” “Friends,” “Hacks,” “The Penguin,” “The Big Bang Theory” and more.
The $17 per month that Sling TV charges for Max is the same price that customers would pay if they purchase Max directly from the service, but with one important difference: Those who purchase Max through Sling will also get streaming access to eight HBO linear channels, just as they would if they purchased HBO via cable or satellite.

Janice Was Nearly Cut from Friends After Season 1 (Photo Credit – YouTube)
Sitcoms have a way of becoming pop culture touchstones, and Friends was no exception. Running for ten iconic seasons became a 90s phenomenon, catapulting its cast to A-list fame and solidifying its place in television history. While the main six characters were undoubtedly the stars, many guest appearances, like Janice, left an indelible mark. Janice’s signature laugh and catchphrase, “Oh my God,” became iconic—so much so that she almost didn’t make it past season one!
Maggie Wheeler, the brilliant actress behind Janice, revealed in a recent interview with Uproxx that her character was nearly written off after the first season. So, what kept her coming back? It all boiled down to the genius of Matthew Perry and a laugh that became legendary. “I needed a safety net because he was hilarious,” Wheeler explained, referring to the...

Gabrielle Union added a new face to the hit TV series Friends when she made a guest appearance on the sitcom. However, she felt she wasn’t treated in a way an actor of her caliber deserved to be.

Union made a bit of history when she first appeared on Friends. She was the first African American actor to appear on the show, which she featured in after being on another television series.
“City Of Angels got cancelled that Monday and on Tuesday I got the call to see if I’d be willing to do friends. To me it was just another check,” Union once said according to Black Film.
While on set, Union went on to assert that she wasn’t intimidated by the cast’s legacy or its makeup in the slightest.

Teri Garr, the Oscar-nominated star of “Tootsie,” “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” was known for playing lovably daffy characters like Inga in “Young Frankenstein,” but also shined in more dramatic parts.
Sadly, her career was shortened by multiple sclerosis. She died of the degenerative disease on Tuesday at age 79.
We toast the talented comedian and dancer with this list of her best, most loved movie and TV roles.

Garr received her only Oscar nomination for her role as Dustin Hoffman’s supportive friend Sandy in comedy classic “Tootsie.” After Hoffman’s character has created his successful Dorothy persona, he’s caught trying on one of Sandy’s dresses, and turns the awkward situation into a seduction. Naturally, he lies that he’s going to call her when he’s really only interested in Jessica Lange’s character.

Mel Brooks, who directed Teri Garr in the iconic 1974 comedy Young Frankenstein, remembered the actor upon her death Tuesday, recalling Garr’s talent and spirit.
“So very sorry to hear about Teri Garr’s passing,” Brooks said in a statement on social media. “She was so talented and so funny. Her humor and lively spirit made the Young Frankenstein set a pleasure to work on. Her ‘German’ accent had us all in stitches! She will be greatly missed.”
Garr was a standout in a film filled with standouts. She played Inga, the German lab assistant to the visiting American Dr. Frederick Frankenstein, played of course by Gene Wilder. As the seemingly ditsy — “seemingly” being the operative word — Inga, Garr employed a rather ersatz German accent, hence Brooks’ quote marks around the word.

2004 was a notable year for television viewers. “Friends” wrapped up its 10-year run; Ken Jennings had his first winning streak on “Jeopardy!”; Illinois senator Barack Obama made a splash with a keynote speech at the Democratic National Convention; new series “Lost” and “Desperate Housewives” became obsessions. And the news was constantly filled with stories from the Iraq war.
Then, on Oct. 30, a network known as the Gospel Music Channel was born. “I remember thinking ‘Wow, it’s the perfect time to have something positive and uplifting and there was probably nothing more hopeful than gospel music,” says Charles “Charley” Humbard, the founder and CEO of Up Entertainment.
Humbard is aware that a faith-based music channel might not have been the obvious choice for a new network, but he saw indicators that told him they were on the right path. “The landscape was really good at the time,” he says.

Jenn Tran has been a ray of sunshine throughout her Dancing With the Stars Season 33 journey.
The Bachelorette alum’s time on the show concluded during Tuesday’s episode despite being one of the better performers on the ABC hit.
Unfortunately, there is a higher level of talent than in recent years, which has made it difficult to predict who will be sent packing each week.
In addition, judges Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Bruno Tonioli have been called out for not providing consistent feedback this season.
Either way, we went into Tuesday’s new episode knowing anyone could go.
Jenn and pro dancer Sasha Farber performed a contemporary routine to “Vampire” by Olivia Rodrigo as part of the show’s Halloween night.
It was very good, and the judges gave them a score of 28 out of 30, plus three bonus points, for a total score of 31.

For its season 36 premiere last month, "The Simpsons" gave fans a fake-out series finale where all the Springfield characters (except Bart) received happy, conclusive endings, implying better days (and possible spin-offs) ahead. "I'm sure gonna miss this place," everyone kept saying, turning the lights off to whichever room they were in and solemnly walking out the door.
The episode was not the real finale, of course, but it did offer a glimpse of what the finale could look like. For a show that's been famously hesitant to break with the status quo, even if it means keeping poor characters like Milhouse or Moe in endless agony, it could make sense for the series finale to center around the characters breaking free. It would be nice for Milhouse to get Lasik surgery or for Homer to start being a better father. But for showrunner and executive producer Matt Selman, the ideal...

Here’s everything we know about Joey’s bromance (Photo Credit – Koimoi)
Okay, let’s talk about Friends. The show taught us how to laugh, cry, and question our relationship choices, all while bingeing on takeout and dreaming of living in a NYC loft. But let’s get to the fundamental question: did Joey Tribbiani—that goofy, pizza-devouring charmer—invent the modern TV bromance? You bet he did!
The King of Goofballs
Joey wasn’t just the guy with a killer smile and a “How you doin’?” that could make any heart flutter. He was the quintessential bro! Picture this: a dude with a flair for acting, an insatiable appetite, and a heart as big as his collection of oversized sweaters. He juggled seven sisters, countless flings, and an acting career that could make anyone else sweat buckets. But through it all, his loyalty to his friends shone brighter than his smile.

How the Friends Cast Secured Equal Pay & Changed TV History Forever! ( Photo Credit – Instagram )
Did you know the Friends cast united for equal pay? Matthew Perry revealed in his memoir that David Schwimmer led the charge—teamwork makes the dream work, right? How ironic!
Perry recounted that Schwimmer was riding high on his popularity and recognized it could benefit him and the whole crew. “David’s year,” Perry called it, highlighting how Schwimmer brought a “hangdog expression” and a boatload of humor to his role. He was the first among them to land a commercial, hit up The Tonight Show, and even buy a house. Schwimmer was the “hot guy” of the first season, rightly so!
When Schwimmer suggested the collective renegotiation, Perry couldn’t believe it. “I was thrilled,” he said, eager to ride the wave of Schwimmer’s generosity. That move turned out to be pure gold for the entire cast.

Teri Garr, a pioneering female comedian and versatile actress known for her roles in classics such as Young Frankenstein and Tootsie, has died at the age of 79. Garr had been publicly fighting multiple sclerosis (Ms) for more than 20 years. She earned an Oscar nomination for best supporting actress for her role in Tootsie in 1982.
Garr began her career as an Elvis Presley back-up dancer in the 1960s before transitioning to acting. Her big break came in 1974 with Mel Brooks’ comedy Young Frankenstein, where she famously delivered the line “Would you like to have a roll in the hay?” as Inga. Throughout the 1970s and 80s, Garr worked with top directors like Francis Ford Coppola, Steven Spielberg, and Sydney Pollack. She played Ronnie Neary in Close Encounters of the Third Kind and received her Oscar nomination for playing Sandy Lester opposite Dustin Hoffman in Tootsie.

In today’s age of endless content, streaming services, and supposedly “inclusive” storytelling, you’d think TV has something for everyone.
With diverse casts, cultural representation, and bold new narratives, it sure seems that way — at least on paper.
But if you’re part of the crowd that finds yourself rewatching Friends for the gazillionth time instead of diving into the latest TikTok-influenced teen drama, you’re not alone.
(ABC)
Yeah, I know what you’re thinking: “Is she gonna whine?”
Well, isn’t that the trend these days?...

Remember When Matthew Perry & Matt LeBlanc Pulled a Series-Long Prank on Friends? You Won’t Believe What Happened! (Photo Credit – Facebook)
Long before TikTok pranks and viral challenges, Friends co-stars Matthew Perry and Matt LeBlanc were the undisputed prank kings.
