Sex & Nudity

Violence & Gore

  • There are some scary looking dinosaurs, and a couple of people do die: one is instantaneously turned into a skeleton and fossilized on a cave wall, and the other turns into green slime. The weapons used are primarily flame-throwers, and while one creature (a humanoid with a lizard head) catches fire, he's not harmed.
  • A small dinosaur -- supposed to be the equivalent of a dog -- gnaws on a woman's foot, and she promptly stabs him; both seem uninjured.
  • A man is changed into a chimpanzee.
  • Gore is mainly of the disgusting and slimy variety.
  • There are various threats of violence.

Profanity

  • 2 misuses of "hell." Both are near the beginning of the movie.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • One minor character is seen with a cigarette in her hand most of the time she is on-screen.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The entirety of the de-evolution scene.
  • Goombas in this movie look creepy
  • Koopa's kingdom is a dark and derelict dystopia.
  • There is a police car chase where Mario and Luigi drive the police car out of town while being chased and attacked by other policeman.
