Most splendid.

It would be easy to describe the video diaries as depicting an iconoclastic fraternity disseminating ribald proletarian zealotry. So I won't.

Not yet my favorite Coogan Warning: Spoilers
Comedian Steve Coogan has been fairly known in England for a long time as this short film from almost 25 years ago proves. When this was made back in 1993, he was still in his 20s and 2 decades away from his Oscar nominations. And his approach to comedy was entirely different compared to what it is today, much louder, more obscene and more boastful. In here, he plays a young "gentleman", a man who sometimes seems like a likable loser and sometimes like a complete idiot. When he crushes on a woman, things go south pretty quickly as expected. I personally did not enjoy this little movie too much and did not find it really funny. I certainly enjoy the Alan Partridge kind of humour, the much more subtle approach. This is why I would recommend this one here only to the most hardcore Coogan fans. Everybody else can skip it. But if you like it nonetheless, feel free to check out the sequel which also runs for slightly over half an hour like this one here.
