Mumbai, May 17 (Ians) The singer-composer duo of Sachet Tandon and Parampara Thakur has discovered an instant connect with fan on social media. Apart from their music, the real-life couple says they are happy with the response they have been getting for their videos that are often loaded with a daily dose of banter.
"Our intention was simple, to stay connected with our audiences and motivate them not to lose hope. We also did not realise that our daily banter would become so popular but any happiness we can get to people in these times, it's a blessing to be able to do that," Parampara says.
"I strongly believe that music can heal, music is therapy. We feel so good when we connect with our people on social media. They are our people. Their love has made us what we are today. Their support makes our songs go big and viral.

“I always believe that my films should give some hope to the man who comes to watch them for those three hours. If he goes home on an optimistic note, I would feel satisfied at having done my duty.” – Yash Chopra
It was indeed a sad day when news spread that one of India’s finest filmmakers, Mr. Yash Chopra, unexpectedly passed away at the age of 80. Mr. Chopra is an undisputable legend and he has crafted some of the finest commercial films the Bollywood audiences have ever feasted their eyes upon. If Satyajit Ray is considered by Indian film enthusiasts to be the supreme director when it comes to art-house cinema, Yash Chopra can be classified as the definitive director when it comes to mainstream cinema. Yash Chopra is largely famous for making wonderful romantic films, though he has directed a handful of non-romantic films also. Yet no director...

Welcome to St. Teresa’s High School. Here ABC means Ameer bacche aur chamche! Dynamics have changed, times have changed! St. Teresa is a prestigious and glorified school in Dehradoon which has students of two categories ‘Tata’ and ‘Bata’. The rich brats and the scholarship weeds! But certainly, it is not on the conflict but on the co-existence of the haves, have nots, and too much to have’s!
The story starts with time leap where students gather after years when they get to know about the last breath of the Principal who was admitted. It has been years since they parted and contemplations of the past begin. The flashes of the story kick starts from the hospital, flavored the same way as in the Airport scene in Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na.

Yash Chopra's soul sister, muse and Mata Saraswati- reincarnated Lata Mangeshkar isn't singing in the director's new venture. It's a first in his long and illustrious career as a filmmaker. From the time Yash Chopra turned producer-director in 1973 with Daag, Lataji's voice has been integral to Yash Chopra's creativity and cinema right until his last directorial venture Veer-Zaara.
In a conversation with this writer Yashji gushed, "Lataji has always been so kind to me. She can never say no to me. As long as I am there and she's there, she'll continue to sing for my films. She's a legend beyond all human definition of the word. She's my sister and I'm so proud of her. That's why I say she's one singer who doesn't follow music, music follows her. When I see her I feel very small and humbled. There're no words to describe her. She's truly the Bharat Ratna.

Kareena Kapoor tells Jyothi Venkatesh that Saif Ali Khan has come a long way as an actor from the time he was seen in films like Aashiq Aawara and Parampara.
Did you take up the offer to act in Kurbaan just because you could spend time with Saif on the sets?
No. I do not need a film just to spend my time with Saif. Who wants to spend quality time together just working round the clock? I’d rather chill out with Saif without the baggage of work. Both Saif and I are professional actors and our careers are very important to us as thorough professionals.
Can you elucidate?
Like we do not carry our work home after the pack up, we also make it a point not to carry our relationship on.
