Shot in 1957, the film was never seen outside of an editing machine until 1993, when it was discovered by Sinister Cinema at the old offices of Headliner Productions. Sinister bought the rights to sell it on video in 1993. It gained the most attention when it was shown on Mystery Science Theater 3000 (1988).
Star Aldo Farnese ("Henry Krasker") was a native of Philadelphia and came to Hollywood to become a movie actor. When things didn't pan out, he returned to Philadelphia and in the late 60s/early 70s wrote/directed/performed in two beloved local kiddie shows -"Adam Android" and "Dickory Doc." He also was a cameraman at the Philadelphia Spectrum. He passed away in the early 1990's.
Laura Brock ("Renee Coliveil") purchased a home in New York City with her wages from this film and still has producer Merle Gould's business card.
Myron Natwick ("Raymond Milburn") is related both to famous character actress Mildred Natwick and legendary animator Myron "Grim" Natwick.
