TWIN SISTERS is a straight-to-video mystery thriller of 1992, and one of the more dated examples of the genre. I was hoping for something in the psycho-thriller mould but instead this is more of a low rent crime film, with Stephanie Kramer investigating the apparent death of her sister in a house explosion and uncovering a conspiracy involving hitmen and ruthless criminals. It's a rather pedestrian effort, enlivened slightly by dependable performances from Frederic Forrest and James Brolin, although Kramer doesn't really impress in either role.

Stepfanie Kramer was intense in this double role. Most people can't play a single role let alone pull of two roles of two totally different perspectives. Two major thumbs up for this work. The ending will surprise any one I know it did me! I usually can guess what will end up happening but due to the incredible writing I was caught off guard by the turn of events. This is a must see for any one who likes a plot with a bit of oddness. All actors in this movie work well together and they all show why they are in the business of acting. On a scale of 1-10 for this movie I definitely give it a 10.
