A Scrote of note
drpayn196322 February 2019
It was a brilliant idea to extend the character of Dr. Martin Scrote (who first appeared on The Last Resort with Jonathan Ross) to include 'the other five', and Rowland Rivron's finest achievement. Some absolutely laugh out loud moments (the opening scene of David 'Top Shot' Scrote, for instance) and some pretty dark humour along the way. To the reviewer who was asking where he could get hold of them, the whole set was on iTunes last time I looked.

A rundown of the characters in the series
kevin hunt1 June 2002
This is a series of six short films following the lives of sextuplets who fell out with each other on their birthday. It is one of the funniest programmes of it's type - the spoof documentary. The six brothers are: 1- Doctor Martin Scrote, an overworked alcoholic doctor, with a bizarre guest slot on a television show. 2- "Top Shot" Scrote, a failing photograper who seems to cock every assignment he's given up. 3- Terry "The Tornado" Scrote, the world's worst boxer and his entourage, Uncle Bertram, Mr Shingles and his nemesis "Man Who Packs A Punch" Pickford. 4- Giles Scrote, the newest member of The Young Farmers, and owner of an ever decreasing farm. 5- Ronnie Scrote, he's the biggest supergrass of the day, but don't tell him I told you. He has the scars of his facelift exposed to the climate of Iceland after going into witness protection. 6- And finally Tarquin Shirley Stanstead Scrote, one time cabinet minister, now an alcoholic tramp on his quest for a lost bank account throughout London.

All six characters are unforgettable and with brilliant writing, this shouldn't be missed by anyone who loves off the wall humour.

Fantastically written and perfectly acted!

i saw a couple of these when they were on channel 4 years ago. the only reason i could watch them was because my dad videoed them, otherwise they were on a bit past my bed time! i was 10! anyway, i haven't seen them for years and would love to get hold of the whole series by any means possible! i cant believe i can still remember the title and some of the characters names after so many years!

anyway, if anyone out there knows how to get hold of these wee gems then please contact me.

roland rivron was brilliant in this and i would like to know why he hasn't been in anything of such greatness since? its a tragic shame. f i write a comedy, i shall write him in it, coz he's a star.
