Sex & Nudity

  • Characters occasionally wear bathing suits, but no nudity or sex. Some relationships (or potential ones) are implied.

Violence & Gore

  • The Mario segments feature some light action violence and some slapstick. Captain N is really not much worse. the title character uses a gun-like weapon, but it fires energy beams, and enemies disintegrate in a non-violent pixelated effect. Nothing serious in either show as far as violence goes.

Profanity

  • None apart from the occasional heckling/bullying. This is mostly just for comedic effect.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Mario, Luigi and Princess Toadstool drink Wine at the beginning of the episode "Never Koop A Koopa", but they don't get drunk or anything like that. Other than that, None.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • This show has lots of scary images and spooky sceneries compared to any other Super Mario cartoon series, which is much similar to the infamous "Game Over" part in the Beta version of "Luigi's Mansion".
  • The "Recycled Koopa" episode is very disturbing and frightening where the characters and the protagonist, Mario, are mutated into Koopas.
  • Bowser's Doom Ship is so creepy looking, it might scare some.
  • Kooky Von Koopa's eccentric behaviour and appearance may frighten some small children.
  • None, though characters are sometimes captured and need rescuing.
