Columbo lifts Dog to look over the fence at the ocean. He then lets go of the dog, yet the dog remains in place at the top of the fence. The dog is apparently standing on some sort of hidden platform, yet no platform is visible in the previous shot from behind him.
Inconsistency by the actor portraying Barsini: sometimes he calls Columbo "lieutenant" while other times he uses the British "leftenant".
As Dr. Hammer converses with Columbo from the couch, Columbo's arm moves inconsistently between shots.
(at around 1h 2 mins) Columbo lifts Dog up at a railing to look at the ocean. The camera switches to face the dog, and Columbo sets Dog on something; Dog stands there with his paws over the rail, but there is nothing to stand on. Columbo lifts the dog down, with the camera from behind, and there's no platform where the dog could have stood. However, there are 2 slats beneath the top railing, and the dog's hind paws could have been "propped up" on those.
