Who Framed ...
kosmasp8 November 2021
... not Roger Rabbit in this case. Although it is not so much who, but rather how to prove ones innocence. To make matters worse, that is not the only thing he has to do (he being the main character of the movie). And you know that things can always get worse ... even when you are already in prison .. question is, if they can also get better sometime.

Well played and quite intriguing, this is a low budget genre movie that probably will appeal to a certain group of people. You actually should be able to tell if you are included in that group. An odd but quite pleasant little movie.

Confusion, action... and well done...
pemer26 July 2002
A really good Swedish action movie, directed by young Jonas Frick (then aged 25), who had a career in directing music videos, and later turned into directing commercials.

Entertainer Björn Skifs stars this flick as a chemistry teacher who is framed by local drug dealers and innocently imprisoned for drug dealing. In jail he is put to work in the laundry room, and is forced to befriend and co-operate with the other laundry workers.

As it happens, these are all teamed up since years and know a secret way out of the prison, and are planning a big hit. They force Conny to participate in the scheme, and while they are secretly out of jail in the daylight hours Conny comes across some important leads to the drug dealers who framed him, and meets the beautiful police woman Susanne.

Can Conny put things together... making his laundry "friends" fail their big hit, framing the people who framed him... and still have Susanne...? The confusion leads up to some really great action scenes...

The story is very good, the camera work, the directing and the music score is really neat. And a little piece of candy for the horror movie fan... in one scene a hospital guard is reading an issue of Fangoria with Jason on the cover...

The movie was regarded as a really great flick when it came out in 1988, and personally I think it has passed the test of time really well...

It was also one of the first movies that teached me to sit in during the end titles in theaters and wait for possible epilogue scenes. I saw the movie twice in the theater, but it wasn´t until the video release I acutally saw the entire movie... ooops... Now I have learned the lesson...

Prove your innocents and bust the real criminals!

Absolutely great photo and characters! The regular guy who happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. The story goes on how to prove his innocence and how to bust the real criminals. The story tells about how a drug cartel involving the city's most important people tries to get hold of the city thru the drug contribution. Now when the teacher who is framed for the crime tries to prove his innocents it makes clear the drug cartel might have underestimated his capabilities! He is thrown in prison, where he meet some real characters. How will he prove his innocence from prison, is there a way to communicate with the outer world?
