- Teenagers flirt and make sexual comments a few times early in the movie.
- A teenage girl admits to being a virgin and asks her neighbor who is like an aunt to her about what it's like to have sex. The conversation is not explicit and has a parental advice theme behind it.
- A man and a monstrous woman have sex several times in the movie but no graphic nudity is shown. However the woman's bare breasts are visible in those scenes.
- A teenage girl gets her period in class and leaves when this begins. Blood is shown around her desk.
- Felice performs a voodoo ritual nude at one point in the movie and her nipples in particular are seen for a moment.
Violence & Gore

- The main character's mother dies in a violent car accident, and the death is onscreen, and graphic
- A young boy is attacked by a small creature which claws his face several times

- A man is scratched on the chest by a demonic cat
- A man spontaneously bursts into flames after his hand starts to smoke and rip open
- A young boy is killed in the road by a truck
- A man's arm is snapped and broken by a woman
- A young child is killed by a monstrous woman
- A monstrous woman is hit with a rake, shot with a gun, and impaled on the blade of a hedge-trimmer

- The father has a drinking problem, which worsens after his wife dies. He is shown drinking beer during several scenes.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- The scene of the mother's death early in the movie is sudden and could be a startling moment.
- The nature of the scene involving the main character's friend getting her necklace caught in a moving escalator and being choked is a very intense moment. The scene would definitely frighten children in particular.
- The scene with the cat jumping out of the cupboard is a jump-scare moment.
- A young girl in school sees a diagram of the human body coming to life in a slightly gross scene
