  Newscaster : The chase ended when Lancer lost control of his car and plummeted nearly 100 feet to a fiery death. Police were operating on a tip from the suspect's brother, Stephen Lancer. Apparently the suspect had a long history of mental illness and was institutionalized after setting a series of fires, one of which resulted in the death of his parents. The body found earlier this evening has now been identified as Robyn Griffin, the suspect's girlfriend. We'll keep you informed for any further developments.
