There's something about Traci Lords.

Traci's abilities took her to Cannes, France for "Traci, I Love You", she arrived and got the attention of French photographers. Her body transformed from her illegal years. She's the favorite nude model of Jean-Paul (Gabriel Pontello). He's obsessed with her after the night in the Arena of Pleasure. Traci bones casting agent Mr. Alisair. (Alban Ceray). She ends up as a topless dancer, and Jean-Paul secretly watches in the audience. He sends her a necklace and Traci remembers the night in the Arena of Pleasure being bathed by Diana and Leanna. She ends up in an audience with Monique (Marilyn Jess). Monique calls a group of men who exchange pleasures with Traci. The audience now active because of Traci. Monique and Traci all over each other before other male strangers got involved. Traci remembers all this before meeting Jean Paul in his car. Viewers get a panty-less crotch shot.

The infamous scandal brought Traci Lords mainstream fame when porn wasn't common. Traci Elizabeth Lords is an ex-porn star, former porn queen or porn princess... "ex-child prostitute" if she wants. Whatever it should be called, her past is why most people care. Could be 20 movies, 87, 91, 100 or however much she made. Highest paid or not, she sold "Traci, I Love You" to Caballero for a reported $100,000. Contrary to what she believes, she has benefited from porn. The enduring controversy of her porn life made her autobiography a bestseller. Jim Wynorski saw free publicity in giving her the lead in "Not of this earth". John Waters felt compassion, casting her in "Cry-Baby" and "Serial Mom". Roseanne Barr felt the same, inviting her on a few "Roseanne" episodes. Many of Traci's roles play on her sex-pot image, like those in "Fast Food", "Married with Children" and "Melrose Place". Even the creators of Sci-Fi's First Wave" series, knew the attention her presence on the show would generate. Most former porn performers don't attempt mainstream acting, if they did, they're going to get plenty of doors slammed in their faces by "self-righteous casting agents" in Hollywood. Ginger Lynn also had an abusive parent and boyfriend. She had similar troubles getting non-porn roles that didn't require nudity. But Traci Lords has been the most successful. She remains uncommon. Lords was angered by "Dateline" for interviewing World Modeling Talent Agency founder, Jim South ("Tim North"), in its story about her. It isn't "lousy journalism" to get the other viewpoint. Nobody rides for free. Traci claimed that South provided cocaine and champagne to loosen her up for a nude photo session. Christy Canyon disputes Traci's charge and defends Jim South. "Something bigger has to happen for people to forget that part of my life" she said. Porn made Traci Lords famous, and literally gave her a name. Her real name is the stage name from "THAT industry" she loathes. Making it her legal name gave more ammunition to her critics, even if she honestly meant to face her past.

Traci reluctantly accepts fans and pretends to not care why they like her. "What people think of me, and what they put on me, that's their stuff. And who am I to tell people what to think?" Or "But why people relate to me is really up to them. I appreciate the fans- where they come from, and what they like about me is their business." Traci Lords asks, "Was it impossible to change public opinion?" Looks like she concluded "yes". She made a new life putting down the porn industry and the pornographers who didn't know her real age. The ones who didn't know she was really angry in those movies, a "sexual terrorist" acting out. Traci's ultimate role—Kristie Elizabeth Nussman. Her squealing hiccuped moans weren't really pleasure, as she claims, but venting "complete and total rage". Her famously vocal scenes, whether as Jody, John Leslie's Lolita-wannabe student in "Breaking It". Or tempting Jamie Gillis with her Catholic school girl ways in Alex Derenzy's"Wild Things". Being the naively endearing mermaid in "Talk Dirty to Me, Part 3", with Leslie again. Even as Tom Byron's seductive sister, Vicky Jennings in "Sister Dearest". She was the dumb valley girl-talking Debbie in "Black Throat". She was undercover cop Michelle Leon in "Beverly Hills Copulator". Out to take down a drug lord who's involved in the sexual exploitation of young women (dramatic music) including her sister Rachel. No Lorraine, but there's Grace. Her partner Grace Fischer is played by Kristara Barrington (Kim Morgan). Some claims that Morgan also started porn when underage.

Traci believes the pornographers could have at least apologized about exploiting a young girl after finding out her true age. How comes no one presses them on that? Traci asked. This industry has hardly gotten free passes. With a closer look, porn's bad parts can be seen. Tragic porn stories attract the "Hard Copy" and "A Current Affair" crowd. John Holmes dying of AIDS. He did drugs and stole to serve his habit. Don't forget Wonderland. Savannah shot and kills herself in 1994. Shauna Grant did the same thing a decade before. Nina Hartley was right. Traci came to them, they didn't go to her. Lords said porn wasn't about sex but being part of a community. She was an angry young girl dressing a certain way, using sex to act out, and sex was a tool. She did reek of sex. So people who worked with her in porn are not just "pushing an agenda" when they described her as the wild cat she was. John Waters said she was good at being a porn star.

Already a Fallen Angel before porn, Traci Lords was exploited as much as anyone who gets hired for filmed sex. Like anyone who gets paid once, and their scenes recycled. She demonstrated she was a capable business woman and performer. Traci Lords had Control.

Traci Lords (Nora Kuzma) is legend and that is a bias of my view about this movie. I have about 10+ of her (underage) movies and this last one is by far her most erotic. I'm not sure whether it was the French production company or the French location but here Traci is at her best in a super classy style hardcore movie.

This is not "just another" porn movie, it has a story (but who cares) and it really has some class. There are some very sexy m/f and f/f scenes that you hardly see in other hardcore movies. The great feature about this movie is, that you can see her face in multiply close-up shots; and that is about the most sexiest part of her body.

Try to get your hand on this movie, it is super sexy and has historical value. My Vote = Definitely Above Average

When it comes to sex, I like performing much better than watching. For this reason I skipped the porn-scenes in 'Traci, I love you' -- the accelerated-speed facility on my DVD-player came out handy here.

Having done so, about 10% of 'Traci I love you' is left to review. The movie opens with a fully clothed Traci Lords sightseeing in Paris, naturally including a shot of her against the Eiffel tower. We see close-ups from this 18 year old girl's face, testifying about her two years' career in porn: hard, money-greedy, and fully aware of the great potential in her breathtaking looks.

After that the scene moves over to the seaside resort of Cannes, located at the French Rivièra. A place blessed with a Californian climate. We see Traci topless on the beach, before delivering a full show of her professional skills in the office of a French porn producer.

Time to skip now, and we end up almost at the closing credits of this movie. We see Traci on the set, making fun with the people around her. These light moments show her to be a normal 18 year old girl after all.

The nice edge throughout this entire movie is the very American Traci Lords contrasting with her very French background. The French producer of 'Traci I love you' did a nice job here.

She had The Pout that drove men wild

Censorship has stifled much of the info I might contribute about the adult film career of Miss Lords. She has the makings of an erotic cinema classic here, much like The Story of O. Set in France, it depicts the sexual adventures arranged by her photographer/admirer before he returns to complete his love affair with her: seducing a producer, an erotic massage from two women, then onto an underground sex club for a foursome with a group of men and a lesbian dildo scene. Those who knew Traci have said she enjoyed her erotic films. It seems evident here. But the down side explored in her biography is remembered better after she is arrested on child porn charges, subpoenaed to testify multiple times and has all her adult films re-edited to substitute Ginger Lynn. If she disliked her films, then why the two titles directed under her pen name, Cheech Bogardt? It's ironic she didn't face charges using a false name and ID while the producers who didn't know she was under age did. And the films? Well, like other reviewers have said, the controversy is what kept her phone ringing for parts long after three years of porn have been forgotten. Here she still has, like a director for the late Mitchell Brothers once said, "the pout that drove men wild."

The story of a hopeful American actress coming to France seeking stardom, but instead gets caught up in the world of Pornography and stripping, both at which she is very proficient. A photographer {Gabriel Pontello} develops and infatuation with her, and sets off to possess her in any way possible. So he formulates an odd plan which begins in a particularly memorable scene, essentially performing a veritable Spell, burning a photo of her while detailing his wish to partake in her flesh.

At first, she decides to go to the beach where she goes topless, and is hounded and descended upon by a slew of reporters snapping hundreds of pictures, no doubt making the center spread of many a French paper the next morning.

His plan unfolds indirectly, beginning with a film producer on his "casting couch" {or desk, in this case}, who enjoys her fully. Next, she is directed to an underground sex club which is quite literally 'underground', as one would have to take an elevator to reach the main chamber. She is prepared for the nights' festivities where two lovely girls bathe and perform cunnilingus upon her, after wards entering a black room containing couches and a circular bed in its center, where she is welcomed by the very randy mistress of the manor, a gorgeous blonde named Monique {Marilyn Jess} wearing nothing but a spiked collar, introducing Traci to the pleasures of the flesh, to the amusement of the others present in the shadows, who follow their examples in kind with their partners. But first, she is instructed to partake in multiple fellatio on five leather-masked men, as well as receiving a thorough tonguing from them all, being virtually worshiped as a sex goddess. The place erupts into a cavalcade of copulating nymphs and satyrs.

Traci and Monique enjoy each other in another memorable scene which lasts a generous twenty minutes or so. Eventually she is asked the question, "Have you ever been dominated?" Traci is unclear on the meaning, stating "Pleasure is love", to which another couple are brought in to demonstrate anal sex for her.

The sex club seems like a Satantric, or decidedly dark tantra group of hedonists that would please The Marquis DeSade, pleasuring each other to great mutual indulgence. In My opinion, this is top-quality Sinemaerotica, and should be in every sensualist's collection.

Traci is the most beautiful adult actress ever.

I think that Traci Lords is the most beautiful adult film actress to ever grace the adult film industry. The only one close to her in looks and having the ability to really get into her scenes in Nina Hartley. Traci really gets into her acting, and comes across as though she is having a really good time. You feel as though she is into the sex scenes in a big way, and gives it all she has. She has to rank as the top female adult film artist of all time. It's a shame that all of her adult work has been destroyed before they could have been seen by a new generation of adult film buffs. What a loss!!!!

I've seen all of Traci's movies and this one scene beat them all

I noticed a lot of people making fun of this movie. but the one scene in the office on the desk was fantastic. worth the price of the movie. I had it on a VHS tape... still do but the tape doesn't work anymore. I know this tape is legal but I never see it for sale? any idea's why? anyone? that's all I was going to say about this movie but I have to write ten lines to post this so now I have to ramble. I miss this movie I haven't seen it in about 10 years but it was always one of my favorites. I'll have to admit some of the comments might have been right Traci doesn't seem to be enjoying herself too much but I just figured it was because the director was going after something different. but different or not Traci was really exciting and her rump was worshiped so beautifully.
