- TriviaJulia Montgomery refused to reprise her role as Betty because in the original script Betty is caught cheating on Lewis. Montgomery felt it betrayed the change in her character from the first film. Joe Roth offered to have the scene re-written but Montgomery still refused. She eventually returned for the following sequels. Lewis is shown packing a picture of Betty in the beginning of the film, implying they're together and that Lewis cheats on Betty with Sunny later in the film.
- GoofsIn the scene where the Alpha Betas are in the hotel suite previously occupied by the Tri-Lambs before their arrest when framed for grand theft auto, Stewart shows up in a White Castle uniform looking for his "homies." There are no White Castle restaurants in Florida.

Medicore sequel but still provides the laughs
Revenge of the Nerds II: Nerds in Paradise isn't as good as the first film mainly because the film wasn't rated R. Robert Caradine is back in proper form as Lewis his character really grows this time. Curtis Armstrong as Booger steals the sequel he's funnier here in some scenes then in the first. If the film had been rated R and had nudity then it could have been good as the first but the PG-13 rating is what maily hurts the film.
