Sex & Nudity

  • A few passionate kissing scenes. There is an implied sex scene near the end, but nothing to serious. There is a scene where Santa Anna wakes up in bed with his sister, who is implied to be nude, but there is nothing inappropriate going on here.

Violence & Gore

  • Some Texans get into a drunken fight, this is broke up and they go about their business.
  • Some battle scenes, nothing too violent. There are a few raids against the Mexicans. The Alamo battle is the climax, nothing too graphic for teens.
  • Hundreds of people killed.

Profanity

  • A few uses of Damn and Hell. I don't remember if there is any stronger profanities used or not.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • There is some drinking, but nobody is "drunk". There maybe some smoking of pipes or cigars.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Santa Anna's temper might scare some viewers.

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • There is a lot of violence in this film, however; there is little to no blood and the violence is not very graphic.
  • All of the Texans die defending the Alamo & they kill a lot of Mexican soldiers. The deaths are rather corny and cheesy to the point of appearing cartoon-like.
