Maybe an incredible situation, but it's TV and that means escapism. If you can't sit down for 30 minutes and just enjoy silliness, then pick another show. Yes they solve problems in a half hour. It's not real, but as with all things you can take something with you that may help you later. Even if it's just to chuckle.

I remember the days when I couldn't wait for Friday, I was just 2 years old when Full House began, but I remember for some odd reason just watching this show from day one. Full House has always brought back great memories for me, it's the one show I absolutely loved as a child and couldn't miss. I think because I always wanted to be apart of the Tanner family, they always seemed to have it together, have fun, and could solve any problem within half an hour, lol. Now, I still watch the show, I admit, it's an ultimate guilty pleasure. But I think I have a different out look on the show now.
At the time when 80's comedy shows came, it seemed like the popular thing was the single dad bit. Danny Tanner is a widowed father who has three young beautiful daughters: DJ(Donna Joe), Stephanie, and Michelle. His rock and roll brother in law, Jesse, comes to help him out having to abandon his living on the edge life style to take care of his little nieces. And Joey, Danny's life long best friend also moves in, a struggling comedian who brings a little humor and kindness to the family. Together they all go through life and it's little problems, but shows the bright side to each one.
The positives about this show is that it always had good morals, in some sick way, I think this helped me stay as a clean cut kid. It had typical problems that a lot of people knew how to relate too, including for kids growing up. The humor was also a plus, yeah, it's a bit cheesy at times compared to today's sitcoms, but it's still in all good fun like Leave It To Beaver style. Also many people could easily love most of the characters on the show or could relate to them. I always loved Stephanie personally, she always made me laugh and just seemed like the person I'd like to be friends with.
The negatives, problems were solved a little too well, where it could make you believe life was that easy, or at least you would wish it to be so. Then some of the characters got a little annoying, like Michelle, she went from a cute little baby to a spoiled brat, and the show became more about her in the later seasons, which I didn't appreciate. Then the twins that Jesse and Rebecca had were again little brats that were more annoying than cute.
But this show is a huge hit with our pop culture, it still plays on TV today. It also had major career boosts for John Stamos and of course, the Olsen twins. This is a very fun show that will always bring back awesome memories for me. I still watch it, I honestly have driven my mother insane with Full House, I probably will drive my children insane with it as well, but I can't help it, this is a fun show that I think is an honest classic. It always makes you feel good about yourself and about life, as cheesy as that sounds, you'll like it, I'm sure.

Full house is an entertaining family tv show that was around in the 80's and 90's.
It had some really good messages and fun episodes and it succeeded at being emotional. The first three seasons had all of that. It was really entertaining and funny. Then he 4th 5th and 6th seasons came and they were decent seasons.
Of course the magic was gone but it was still fun and worth to watch. And after that the seventh season came and there was a MASSIVE quality drop. The characters became annoying and the jokes became repetitive. But there was one thing I liked and that was DJ 's boyfriend Steve I thought he was funny enough.
But really a character couldn't save it. Joey's Cartoon impressions became so boring and repetitive that the guy became annoying. And the twins were cute but they weren't that good to save the show. And then Season 8 came and it was for me a 4/10. It felt like the actors and actresses got bored with the show and didn't want to do it anymore. They should've stopped at season 5. And by the way the show was cancelled so I am so glad it was because it would've get even worse.
It started 10/10 and ended a 3/10. An 8/10 in it's genre and a 7/10 overall.

FULL HOUSE is a mixed bag. On the plus side, nearly every episode ends with a lesson learned, or a positive message of love and family. Danny, Jesse, and Joey do their best to raise three sweet girls with a knack for getting in (and out) of misadventures. Their parenting style includes gentle reminders (aka discipline) for misdemeanors, and heaps of love for each child no matter what mischief they create. All in all, FULL HOUSE portrays a happy home, albeit an un-traditional one, with many flaws but plenty of love and care to go around. It seems like the ideal kid show, or at least it did to me, until I started watching it. My first impression was "cute and hilarous", but I soon realized it wasn't as clean as it seems. Sexual innuendo started popping up frequently, sometimes in an off-color joke, and sometimes more blatantly. I also was surprised to hear quite a bit of swearing, including d*** and h***, which was a real shock on a show like this. At times they used euphemisms, and other times the children used the real words themselves. As for role models, they're a mixed bag as well. The girls are kind, sweet, and helpful most of the time, but frequently get into some kind of trouble or mischief. Danny is a loving father, and often the one to enforce the lesson, but he has his flaws. Joey is a comical character who loves to laugh, but you'll definitely hear swears and innuendo from him as well. Most of the innuendo comes from uncle Jesse, who's always dating girls, flirting with them, and cracking off-color jokes about his love life. My overall opinion of FULL HOUSE? Don't show this to your kids without previewing a few episodes. Each family has guidelines, and some are stricter than others. The language may or may not bother you, but I'm sure you'll find innuendo and wish the kids weren't around to hear it. I wouldn't show FULL HOUSE to anyone under ten, and even so, I'd probably watch it with them so I could answer troubling questions or point out examples NOT to follow.

Full House is a funny, yet emotional show. The show tells you how an unnormal family can come over some normal everyday life problems. It's a show you could watch over, and over, but never get bored. If you like watching these shows look for Season 1,2, and 3 on DVD. You can also look for Season 4 on DVD August 15 2006. You can find these DVD's anywhere from Walmart to your local mall. The DVD'S usually range from $25.00 - $30.00. The cast in the show make it even better, which includes the now famous Mary-Kate, and Ashley. So if you like shows like 7th Heaven, Family Matters, or any other family friendly shows Full House is for you. This show wasn't the family oriented show it is now in the start it was supposed to be more focused on Danny,Joey, and Jesse. I think it was a better move on ABC's part to switch it to a family sitcom. The show went off the air in 1995, but you can still catch it on ABC Family, and Nick@Nite. It's on ABC Family on normal weekdays at 12:00 PM EDT, and 3:00 PM EDT. It's on Nick@Nite on normal weekdays at 9:00 PM EDT, and 5:00 AM EDT. Also it has Friday night marathons of Full House from 10:00 PM till 2:00 AM in the summer only. Besides those times it usually is not on. I hope you take some time to watch this show if you have not already. The show did win 14 awards and 18 nominations. I hope you enjoy.
The series is funny, warm and close to heart. You fall in love with the characters. It makes appeals to the child in you. Out of the 8 seasons, first five seasons are really good (9 stars out of10). Season 6 is okay (7 out of 10). Season 7 and 8 are bad (4 out of 10) which is why I have given 7. Basically the series lose its charm once Uncle Jesse's twins are born.
From season 6, it feels like the writers have gone out of content.
But the first 5 seasons are really good and funny - A rare English series without the woke craps. And since the target audience is children every episode has a moral lesson to teach and all the problems are resolved in the end of the episode.

oh boy, i grew up a huge fan of Full House when it first aired on ABC to its final episode.... the entire cast had great chemistry, and the relationships on the show where very genuine, loving, and heartfelt,
and you never got bored or tired of watching a single episode or rerun of Full House, because it was such a very charming, lovable, sweet, and entertaining sitcom, and considered to be one of the most popular TV sitcoms of all time...go figure! I really never get tired of Full House, I'm happy to say that I own all 8 seasons on DVD...it was a great investment.
i loved every single character on the show
they all had there moments, including that annoying, but sometimes hilarious Kimmy Gibbler.
Thank God Full House is still in syndication
and you can catch it on ABC Family weekday mornings
and enjoy this magical treat from ABC.

Full House is a great family show. However, after watching some episodes over and over again I've realized that they're incredibly boring and they seem to shelter themselves from the outside world a lot. Yes, there is a lot of comedy, but there are times when it's incredibly cheesy. It's not like I hate it, but just don't watch them over and over again because they get old quick. Probably the best season is the first.
Full House is about widower Danny Tanner(Bob Saget)and his three daughters D.J. (Candace Cameron) Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and Michelle (Mary-Kate and Ashley). When Danny's wife dies the he is in need of some help. So, his best friend Joey (Dave Coulier) and the girls' Uncle Jesse (John Stamos) moves in with them. Once they live there together they find they can't live without each other.
Full House reminds you just how important family is and that you can always go home again.

Why does anyone watch this? It's not funny, the characters are awful, there is no real problems yet it acts as if the problems in the show are always huge ordeals, and yet somehow it has a gigantic fan base. I get the nostalgia, but come on! With all the great shows coming out at that time, you people picked this? Let me just name what you could've watched instead of this: Seinfeld, Simpsons, Macgyver, Teenage Muntant Ninja Turtles, The A team, Star Trek the next generation and so many more. How does someone like this? And yet, you decided that you should waste thirty minutes of your life watching this! How? Why? Please explain to me why people thought this show was good, because I certainly can't explain it.

What a crime...
You forgot to brush your teeth...let's make a 30 minute show about it and have a couple of kids make some noise and then have the dad lecture them all because that's what he has to do.
But, don't forget Uncle Joey has to make some weird noises and cooky faces, then Uncle Jesse has to show up with his black leather jacket and some jeans and look pretty for a few minutes while everybody discusses how Mother would have done things if she were around..
Yep, full of zany little adventures about a whole bunch of nothing and an entire overlong story to build around it.
Full House will not only bore you to tears, but it will make you age twenty times faster than you normally would.

This is how I feel about the show.
I started watching the show in reruns in 2001.
I enjoy the show but it had too many faults.
I HATE THE MICHELLE & JOEY CHARACTERS!
Stealing story lines from old TV shows. They even stole from "The Partirdge Family." Then in 1 episode "The Partridge Family" was mentioned.
Actors playing different roles in different episodes. MTV Martha Quinn the most notable doing this, especially when she played herself in 1 episode.
The Michelle character COULD NOT take a joke but then they had this little kid act out "revenge" to her sisters for a joke by them on her.
Story lines that came & went in 1 episode. Joey getting the TV show with Frankie & Annette, never heard from it again after that. Danny all of a sudden playing the guitar. 1 episode he is coaching soccer, 1 episode he is coaching softball/baseball. 1 game & you are out huh Danny?
Jesse & Joey keep getting jobs REALLY QUICKLY with no experience. Only in a TV show.
I did like the D.J. & Stephanie characters. Wish Jodie Sweetin could have learned from Candace Cameron Bure & had a clean NON drug adult life.

I'm only seventeen. So this show was finished airing before I was born. I started watching it when I was about eight years old. I love the corny and cheesy eighties and nineties jokes. I love seeing Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen as babies. It's just a good show. Sometimes you laugh real hard and sometimes you start to tear up. I also love seeing where everyone began. I have seen nearly everyone actor/actress in this show, end up doing more. For example, Bob Saget is currently the voice of future Ted Mosby in How I Met Your Mother. This show has something for everyone. And you need to make sure that you're in a good eighties/nineties way before you watch this show, otherwise you'll be complaining about not seeing cell phones, or iPads.

I grew up watching Full House as a child. I stopped watching it for years, but about two weeks ago I started back watching it again. Now my kids watch the show and they love to watch it as well. My kids can't believe that DJ , on the show, and I are the same age.
I really love the show, because it is a show you can watch with your family. It has good teachings your kids can learn from. Also there isn't any drugs and violence on it. Also when the kids, on the show, have a problem they can always open up to their family for help. That's the message kids should be getting from TV now a days, turn to your family for help, not to drugs. Kids should be watching more shows like Full House instead of half the mess on TV now a days.
I also love the show because it makes you laugh and it is down to earth. It talks about real life problems and family matters. There is always a lesson you can learn from the show.
I vote the show a 10.

As a child, I enjoyed watching Full House, and the show left a lasting impression on me. It was a delightful mix of heartwarming moments and comedic relief, which kept me engaged throughout the series. The characters are all unique and lovable in their own way, and they each bring something different to the table, making it easy to connect with them. Even though it is a comedy, the show thoughtfully and sensitively tackles some critical issues, such as family values and the struggles of single parenthood, which add depth to the storyline.
However, I must admit that some episodes felt repetitive and predictable, and the show's formulaic nature was sometimes apparent. Nevertheless, this sitcom is a classic worth watching and has stood the test of time. It is a great show to watch with family; it has something for everyone. Overall, I highly recommend Full House to anyone looking for an enjoyable, lighthearted show with relatable characters and a positive message.

I will start off by saying this: if you like full house then, good for you. I myself happen to very much dislike this show. So what's so bad about this show you may ask yourself? Well let's start off with the lame and dated jokes that are here. I don't need to give any examples just watch the show yourself. Not only that but this show fails at something every "great" show needs: inserting characters. They're all so bland and just boring. So with a sitcom with unfunny jokes and uninteresting characters at the very least they could put in some intriguing situations right? Nope, instead sources of conflict include very mundane events. There is nothing "special" about this show. In my opinion at least like I previously stated "if you like full house good for you" it's just not my kind of show know what I'm saying dawg? I would like to make a comparison for a second, Seinfeld and Full house. In Seinfeld there was also a lot of mundane situations however, unlike full house though, it had funny jokes and likable characters. So in a way full house is like an inferior version of Seinfeld. Sorry if I came across as pretentious in this little review,it's just I really don't like full house.

I can't say I was the biggest "Full House" fan. I liked it when it first came out, but as I got older it got cornier to me. It was so sanitized and Leave it to Beaver-ish that I couldn't get into it once I reached the age of about twelve. Now, those characteristics do make it an excellent family show, just don't expect tween and teen boys to like it.
Even the cool guy, Uncle Jesse (John Stamos), wasn't cool anymore when I got older. And Danny Tanner (Bob Saget) and Uncle Joey (Dave Coulier) were NEVER cool.
The show lasted eight seasons so they had to be doing something right, and I'm sure "Full House" helped Bob Saget get the AFHV gig.

Seriously. This is one of the most stupid family shows of all time.
Plot- A family without a mother and 3 "dads" raise 3 little girls in San Francisco, California.
Characters- Neat freak Danny, cartoon loving Joey, hair obsessed Jesse, spoiled brat Michelle, stupid DJ, and almost normal Stephanie. The creators of this show really want you to hate the characters, don't they?
Therefore, I do not think anyone should watch this show. I only chuckled at a few moments in the show's whole running, and I think that instead of lethal injection, all criminals should be forced to watch this show, a torture far worse than anything else.
1.5/10 or: D
