''Ópera do Malandro'''is one of the most well known movies from Brazil. The cast has famous Brazilian actors and singers, like Edson Celulari, Claudia Ohana, Elba Ramalho and Cláudia Jimenez to name a few, who performed the songs from Chico Buarque. This film, by the way, is based on Chico Buarque's songs, and Chico Buarque is a very famous Brazilian music composer, that even many people from outside Brazil, already heard about. Since the movie passes during the second world war, we can see the conflict between fascists and democrats, and for those who doesn't know about Brazillian history, at that time, Brazillian government had an alliance with the Nazi movement (But the Brazilian people did not supported it) This movie is not bad, but maybe because I heard so much about it, I expected a little more of it. Anyway, it is a classic, all all classics should be watched.
