Obscure ghost movie made in HK and Taiwan.
OllieSuave-0076 September 2017
This is an obscure ghost movie made in Hong Kong and Taiwan, a story about two cousins whose boutique, which used to be a theater years ago, is haunted by a ghost. The spirit seeks revenge on the person responsible for accidentally burning down the theater 30 years ago, causing her fiery death.

This movie has the usual Hong Kong-style comedy plus horror fare, but with limited suspense and mild comic relief. The acting was OK for the most part, and the plot's pacing is quite steady. Not a terribly exciting movie, but is OK to pass the time with.

Another comedy with horror elements, that Hong Kong knocked out in the 80s. It stars 2 of the young stars of the period in Ann Bridgewater and Charine Chan, who often appeared in films together with Loletta Lee and Fennie Yuen also, but the latter 2 are nowhere to be seen here. We also have Mark Cheng, another very recognisable face.

More comedy than horror, likeable enough but nothing special.

Perfect for kids under 10

Scary enough to capture the attention of kids. Entertaining enough for us to have watched it weekly for a year.
