Sex & Nudity

  • Kong watches a couple make out through a window at a motel room with a puzzled look on his face.
  • One scene shows the bare breasts of Linda Hamilton's character for a fraction of a second. Children very unlikely to notice.

Violence & Gore

  • Kong eats a man, then picks his hat out of his mouth.
  • The heart transplant scene has a lot of blood and "gore" sounds and might disturb young children.
  • Kong crushes a man with his fist.
  • Kong snaps a man in two. Lots of violence in this movie, with a fair amount of blood and gore.
  • Final showdown is quite intense.. Soldiers shooting at Kong. Blood splatters. Vehicles are destroyed.

Profanity

  • Lots of profanity. S**t is used more than a few times, with lots of other language.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • The stereotypical country folks are seen drinking alcohol at a barn dance. Hunters that trap Kong are drinking whiskey and try to force Kong to drink some. He spits it out.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Kind a scary moment when Hank and Amy are walking across a bridge and a board breaks and she slips.
  • Lady Kong, being taken from Kong, is sad and doesn't eat cause of being separated from her mate. Might upset viewers.
  • This Kong is a lot more frightening and mean looking than Kong 1976. Children will probably be scared of appearance and his roar. Tense scene when he's trapped by the hunters.
