Violence & Gore
- During a boxing match Drago relentlessly hits Creed with brutal punches and not only knocks him out, but kills him. Creed then dies in Rocky's arms after the match. The bloodied face of Apollo is focused on a lot during the scene.
- During the climactic boxing fight, Rocky faces Ivan. Many punches to their face as they brutally beat each other. Rocky has a few bruises on his face and Ivan's face is cut. In the final round Rocky keeps hitting Ivan relentlessly and knocks him out.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- Apollo Creed is knocked out and dies during the second round against Ivan Drago, and then dies in Rocky's arms.
