Captain Marak and his team of specialists manage to get inside the structure of drug mafia in Czechoslovakia. The thread leads directly into the gang`s headquarters in Berlin. However, it is unwise to strike directly. because between the rivals stands the iron curtain and the police find it clever to track the whole net, all the distributors and consumers. Now we get right into the story. The new delivery is just to be distributed. It is stopped by the police and faked. The best police agents eliminate already known distributors and play their roles. Unfortunately Berlin notices changes in the schedule. They sent Bartak, professional killer to remove those who are believed to fail. This character is one of those who "carry" the whole story. Merciless, coldblooded robot, but on the other hand a fair sportsman with passion in bicycleball. Always and only doing his job. Now we get right into the story. I would not wish to reveal what must be seen. The film "Mravenci nesou smrt" /"The Ants Bring the Death"/ is an excellent example of the vital features of the Czechoslovak detective film school /"Major Zeman"/. The tempo, the gradation and the ending of the story itself correspond with the whole idea of the film - the struggle against drug addiction is extremely hard but must never be stopped.
