Doctor Who will hang with one very groovy lady when Dame Diana Rigg aka The Avengers‘ Emma Peel guest-stars on the BBC series next season.
And joining Rigg for her trip with the Time Lord will be her real-life daughter, Rachael Stirling, the BBC reports.

Dame Diana Rigg and Rachael Stirling have been cast in the next series of Doctor Who. The Bleak House actress and her daughter, last seen in Snow White and The Huntsman, will appear in a 2013 episode written by Mark Gatiss. Though character details have yet to be announced, the pair will replicate their real-life relationship on screen by playing a mother and daughter with a dark secret. In a statement, Stirling described her role on the BBC sci-fi as a "joy", adding: "I am looking forward to the madness of Doctor Who enormously.
