The nude scenes give it some value
KUAlum2615 June 2008
I've seen this movie about three times, and its preposterousness(is that a word or did I just make one up?)made it something that practically all parties involved, particularly the leads, would probably want to forget they took part in. Having said that,it is at least marginally interest-emitting and,of course, lovingly sexual.

I recall that when this movie was being primed for release in early 1982,the selling point was almost entirely around the (still)lovely Morgan Fairchild--who,at the time, was nursing a floundering career after her series "Flamingo Road" was left to whither on the vine by NBC--and her sex/nude scenes. Sure enough, the scenes where she is sans trow are lovingly shot and have a lushness of editing and sound(her bubble bath scene has a particularly rapturous feel, reminiscent of Angie Dickinson's opening scene in Dressed to Kill) that would make the viewer believe that Andrew Stevens' creepy script boy stalker ISN'T the only one stalking Fairchild's eye-candy news anchor-lady.

Another IMDb commenter gave away some perceivably important plot points. Suffice it to say,the thriller/suspense/mystery element of this movie languishes behind the soft-core erotic quality of the film up until the last twenty minutes of the film, when suddenly the urgency of a dangerous stalker(with amazing ability to hide and enter people's abodes)with rapist/deadly abilities comes to the top of the agenda. This is probably ONLY a recommend for FAirchild fans and worshipers, since it is a donut-hole without her.

Dx: Mess.
rmax3048235 October 2013
Warning: Spoilers
There's no doubt about Morgan Fairchild's (neé Patsy McClenny) porcelain beauty, especially when she's all glamorized up, as she is here. That lustrous blond hair with nary a strand out of place, That surgically perfect nose, those over-sized blue doll's eyes with those alluring black lashes. (She wears them even while swimming otherwise nude.) Her acting is adequate for a community playhouse, but her voice is that of a high school girl -- and not even a senior, but a freshman.

She's one of those TV news babes and a real dish, with the figure to go with her features. It's no wonder that her neighbor, Andrew Stevens, takes photos of her naked with his telephoto lens or falls in love with her from afar before he begins to make a real nuisance of himself. Having a fan who is obsessed with you is a real problem. I know, because beautiful women throw themselves at my feet all the time, begging me to mistreat them.

As is usual in these stalker movies, the cops are of no help at all, the stalker is clever and murderous, the boy friend is either away at the wrong time or disabled somehow. Occasionally, as here, he is stabbed to death just about the time he reaches ejaculatory inevitability.

Then the movie falls completely apart. With her boy friend's bloody body pulled from the jacuzzi and buried by the maniac, Fairchild calls the murderer instead of the homicide squad and tells him, "It's just you and me now." It's a horn of plenty of clichés, with hands reaching from out of the frame to grab the heroine by the shoulder, accompanied by a loud sting on the sound track.

There's no need to go on about the film but it does have a few good points. It opens with Morgan Fairchild swimming naked in her pool, while we listen to a romantic ballad under the credits ("Love's Hiding Place"). Another scene, rather artistic I thought, has her undress and slide into a bath tub full of lather, while Stevens gawks at her from a closet. The linkage between the murderer in the closet and the theme, "Love's Hiding Place", is so subtle that the insensitive among us are liable to miss it. There must be other virtues. I'll think of them sooner or later.

I once has a secret love
sol-kay29 August 2010
Warning: Spoilers
***SPOILERS*** Movie about an obsessed maniac Derek Sanford, Andrew Stevens, who after making life a living hell for the person he's been stalking all throughout the movie pretty L.A TV news anchorwoman Jamie Douglas, Morgan Fairchild, ends up getting all that coming to him from the one who really loves him and whom at the same time he's been treating like garbage!

Livng almost next door to Jamie Derek spends most of his spear time away from the photo lab just watching and photographing Jamie from afar. It's when Jamie's boyfriend Brandon, Michael Sarrazin, comes into the picture that Derek blows a fuse. Feeling that Brandon is a threat to his love life with Jamie Derek does everything to split the two lovebirds up. Things get so out of hand that Jamie and Brandon go to the police in the person of LAPD Capt. Maxwell, Vince Edwards, to stop the by now out of control love crazed Derek before he does something really bad!

**SPOILERS*** It's when stopping Derek becomes almost an impossibility in that the law is unable to stop him Jamie finally takes the law, and a 12 gage shotgun, into her own hands in an attempt to blow the creep away for good. As things turned out it wasn't Jamie but the one who really loved him who put an end to Derek's insanity which wasn't, for those of us watching the movie, soon enough!

Movie legend Bette Davis was so impressed with Morgan Fairchild's performance in the movie that she personally wrote her about what a great job of acting she did in it!

A stimulating and thought-provoking performance by Morgan Fairchild
perpwalk15 January 2007
Some people may snicker at this film, but back in the heady days of 1982 we just weren't as sophisticated about the celebrity stalker phenomenon as we are today. We didn't have to be, it was a more gracious and civilized time to live and, I might add, a golden era for television.

But dark days were just around the corner and those of us in the public eye owe the lovely Ms. Fairchild quite a debt for her eye-opening work on this film. I myself found it particularly enlightening when she demonstrated the dangers of being stalked while showering, swimming nude or taking a bubble bath while stroking one's silky thighs.

I'd also like to say that though some philistines may have nominated Colleen Camp for a Golden Raspberry award, I thought she was fantastic in her role, though we could have seen more of her.

Had possibilities, but it's too straight and square to be much fun
moonspinner5511 April 2003
After an erotic, sinuous credits-sequence with a shadowy woman gliding through the waters of a swimming pool, we get mired in straight-faced, B-movie hell. Morgan Fairchild, looking unsure and as stiff as her hairdo, plays a TV news anchorwoman who attracts a stalker. Truly mines the depths of drive-in cliches--and dispatches with one character in such a ridiculous fashion it may have invented a new cliche--"The Seduction" is just half-undressed tripe. Too bad, it had the possibilities of being a juicy, nasty little thriller with soft-core edges. There's nothing edgy about Fairchild's presence: she's as slick as lip gloss and about as permanent. * from ****

Lip Gloss Commercial
josephbrando19 May 2014
This movie is really bad. I mean really really bad. Morgan Fairchild struts her stuff, tosses her hair, gets stalked by some idiot, and tosses her hair some more. Seriously, every shot is just Ms Fairchild looking sexy, swimming in a pool naked, taking a bubble bath, making sexy faces in the rearview mirror of her car, combing her hair!! She never stops combing her hair!! No matter who's stalking her. Breaking into her house, killing her boyfriends (in the most ridiculous way possible) - she doesn't even get upset!!! She just makes more sexy faces in the mirror, pouts her lips, combs her hair some more, gets into her satin sheeted bed. It's absolutely outlandish! Then suddenly at the last 15 minutes of the film she tosses around a rifle like its a hairbrush, still making sexy faces. If you are a fan of hers, you will probably love this flick. She looks absolutely 80's stunning in every scene. But if you want to watch a movie - you're out of luck!

Far too lacking in suspense.
The_Void16 August 2008
I'm not really sure if this movie was originally made for TV; but I wouldn't be surprised if it was as it has all the hallmarks of a made for TV thriller, and unfortunately that isn't a good thing. The film is called The Seduction but there's nothing really seductive about it; admittedly 'The Tired, Cliché Ridden, Suspense-less Thriller' might not have been the wisest choice for a title; but at least it would have been a bit more apt! The movie takes the often used idea of a stalker taking his stalking of a famous person too far; in this case the famous person is pretty newswoman Jamie Douglas. Morgan Fairchild, who takes the lead role, is actually one of the best things about the film; she delivers a good performance and looks nice too, unfortunately it's wasted with such tired material. There's very little suspense in the film and director David Schmoeller (who previously directed the decent seventies horror Tourist Trap) seems more keen to focus on humdrum events. There's the odd sex scene and it's slightly steamy but nothing to get excited about. The ending is actually fairly well done but it's not worth an hour and a half of tedium getting there! Overall, I'm actually quite disappointed in this because I love a good throwaway thriller; but this is not a decent example and therefore not recommended.

A decent Stalker Movie
jameswilliams78425 December 2011
I first saw this movie when it first came out and I was still in the Army. I enjoyed it then, probably because of Morgan Fairchild but recently saw it again and decided to comment on it, especially after I read some peoples negative reviews.

This movie in my opinion delivers with its plot. There is no doubt that Morgan is being stalked and there is no doubt that the stalker has every intention of getting to Morgan. I thought Morgan Fairchild was very good in this movie, especially when you consider that she was a lot more of an inexperienced actress at the time this movie was made. Andrew Stevens was very good as the stalker and the rest of the cast was fine.

You could certainly remake this movie with a bigger budget and get a very good movie. This movie is not a classic but its certainly a watchable movie. Watching this movie you will get into the plot and you will be wondering what the stalker is going to do next.

It's a bad movie, and I should know...
heckles12 July 2000
...being that I've seen it in whole or in parts about ten times. Dating from the early eighties (which seemed to be a particularly fertile time for real stinkers, see my comments on "Legend of the Lone Ranger" and "The Lonely Lady") the film is watchable for two outstanding qualities: First, the impossible physical beauty of Morgan Fairchild; and second, the impossible stupidity of the character she plays, along with that of her lug of a boyfriend (Michael Sarrazin). His death scene, by the way, is one of the more warped bits of unintentional comedy I've seen.

I write this as TBS ran this movie recently, and of course the network excised any scenes of serious skin that Ms. Fairchild displayed. It's too bad they could not instead have put their effort into cutting out every scene featuring the drooling creep who stalks her (Andrew Stevens) - who is able, by the way, to get into her house easier than I can get into my own apartment. The resultant movie would be about twenty minutes long, however, and suppose TBS would need more to hang their prodigious commercial breaks on.

Fun, schlocky retro gem
rivertam2614 June 2020
THE SEDUCTION (1982)

I am so happy they decided to restore this retro, schlocky gem that I might have never seen. It stars a fierce and gorgeous Morgan Fairchild as a tv news personality who finds herself stalked by a sexy, obsessive stalker played by a hunky Andrew Stevens. It's pretty by the numbers but it's a fun horroresque, erotic thriller that really delivers. Not to spoil anything but basically she just reaches the point where she refuses to be the victim and fights back. It's pretty damn satisfying.

Budget: $3m Box Office: $11.4m

How could you take this film seriously? We love Morgan Fairchild, but lets face it, as a performer she was basically an overbooked dime store mannequin. Andrew Stevens wasn't much better and his entire career devolved into softcore.

You can't have a serious suspense drama when the leading lady looks like she spent 6 hours in a beauty salon after getting out of a steamy bath.

A film that at it's time brought the stalking issue to front headlines. This picture is also a good erotic suspense thriller.
blanbrn26 July 2011
Long before the days of anti stalking laws and before it was a crime just to even look at a woman if she suspected fear, this film "The Seduction" shed light on the issue of stalking bringing it to the headlines. As in the early 80's when the film was made most states had yet to impose stalking laws, as the victims were put thru a lot of torment just as the Fairchild character was in this film. Yet thru the years with attractive stars, newscasters, and sports sideline reporters being the victims of stalkers the issue has came to the forefront and the laws against stalking are broad and tough. Mostly the well known and attractive are targets and this film showcased that well.

"The Seduction" is one underrated early 80's thriller with plenty of suspense and erotic drama. Set in L.A. anchorwoman Jamie Douglas(the beautiful and attractive Morgan Fairchild)is at the top of her game with cover girl looks, a beautiful California hills home, and a top rated news show along with a tough guy lover Brandon(Michael Sarrazin). Yet add one big negative and that's Jamie has a strange and obsessed fan a crazed and lonely admirer named Derek(B movie legend Andrew Stevens). Right away when Jamie says no to Derek's romantic offer, he becomes off the chain in his obsession one by one it's the strange phone calls, letters, flowers, to the eventual following of Jamie to work, the mall and even her own home. Derek's snapshots of Jamie's most private and personal moments are at an all time high as this obsessed guy is now a regular pepping tom! Yet the police can't assist as in these times before the anti stalking laws were written this was a laugh, so revenge and stoppage must come from Jamie! Overall this film was a joy to watch for it's suspense and erotic scenes proving that many like Derek become obsessed with a beautiful attractive lady. And these obsessions can take a turn for the worst, and this film in my opinion shed light on the issue of stalking as it probably helped push for strict laws and tougher guidelines. Overall this is one film not to miss.

The Seduction
Scarecrow-886 September 2009
Warning: Spoilers
I must say that I had my share of reservations going into David Schmoeller's The Seduction regarding a disturbed "erotomaniac" stalking a popular newscaster, but I was pleasantly surprised at it's quality in regards to the fabulous look and better-than-expected acting.

Mac Ahlberg's photographic work and Lalo Schifrin's score really enhance the mood of The Seduction and Morgan Fairchild has never been as beautiful or enchanting as she is here in this movie. I was quite impressed with a young, handsome Andrew Stevens(..whose cold, dark eyes are well utilized)as Fairchild's tormenting stalker. There's a chilling scene where he wipes the blood from a knife he had just buried into a victim's back, cutting away pieces of apple, slowly chewing as if savoring every taste. Stevens makes for a really unsettling creep, his good looks actually adding something extra to his psychopath. The luxurious locations(..such as Fairchild's palatial mansion and pool)in LA also add a great deal of vogue and splendor establishing the allure of affluence and wealth.

Some nice supporting turns include Michael Sarrazin as Fairchild's reporter lover who becomes fed up with Stevens' intrusive ways, Vince Edwards as the cop they turn to for help(..who tells them that his hands are tied due to Stevens having not committed a "real crime"), and Colleen Camp(..at the peak of her sexiness)as Fairchild's brassy commercial actress pal. Kevin Brophy is a fellow station co-worker of Fairchild's.

I guess if I had to pick a favorite scene it'd be Fairchild's bath as Stevens peeps on her from a closet, sweating away as she strokes / caresses her body. Pretty violent conclusion as the heated confrontation ensues with Stevens attempting to force Fairchild into a sexual scenario(..this is where we watch as Stevens delusion shatters when Fairchild turns the tables psychologically against him). Wendy Smith Howard has a small but pivotal role as a woman enamored with Stevens, rejected by him when she attempts to express her love to him. Not a flattering view of the police as Fairchild and Sarrazin's pleas for protection are met with little assistance. Actually a film ahead of it's time in regards to the invasion of a public figure's privacy, before the internet / reality show boom.

Fairchild's beauty is well captured throughout, and the camera simply adores her.

Fairchild tries but it's a dud
preppy-319 August 2010
Stupid "thriller". Ridiculously beautiful TV anchorperson Jamie Douglas (Morgan Fairchild) has it all--a successful career, a big beautiful house (that no anchor could ever afford) and a loving boyfriend (Michael Sarrazin). She also has a photographer who adores her named Derek (Andrew Stevens). However his adoration turns into stalking and Jamie begins to fear for her life.

I had totally forgotten about this thing (I can't call it a movie) until it just popped into my head recently (for whatever reason). I remember seeing it on cable TV back in 1982. I set my expectations on low because let's face it--this was only made to show Fairchild nude a couple of times. It was even worse than I expected! The plot was illogical with some truly preposterous "twists". It got boring really quick. The ending especially was bad and seemed sort of rushed.

Fairchild was (and is) a beautiful woman and she looks great here--but she can't act. She tries her best but she just can't pull it off. I actually got uncomfortable seeing the poor woman attempt to act. Sarrazin can be good--but not here. He looks terrible and is far too old for Fairchild (he's 10 years older than her in real life--and it shows). I spent most of the movie wondering what her character ever saw in the guy. Stevens was never a good actor but he is handsome and kind of playful in the role. But, all in all, this was a boring and stupid "thriller". Also Fairchild's nude scenes are brief (if you're watching for that). A 1 all the way.

Campy Formula Movie. Lots of unintentional laughs.
boris-2629 December 1998
This has always been one of my favorite "B-Movies" that was made with home video and cable in mind (Even though it was a theatrical release, back in the days B-Movies got theatrical runs) Jamie (Morgan Fairchild), a beautiful anchor-woman is the target of a stalker (Andrew Stevens) That's about it for the plot. The film has some truly decent moments. I like the scene where Stevens apologizes for his initial stalkings to a receptive Jamie (He even gives her flowers!). Of course, the signature scene is Stevens spying on Morgan Fairchild taking a bath. The scene works for the movie, and of course, the idea of a nude Morgan Fairchild walking about is one of the key reasons why this film was made. But for the most part, this film is dizzlingly hokey. There is a lot of unintentional humor here. My favorite bit is when Jamie reads the news off the teleprompter, and all of the sudden, the text in the teleprompter becomes a nasty note from Andrew Stevens. She accidently reads the first few lines of the nasty, naughty note in the same tone of voice she uses to read the news. She realizes what she has done, and comes close to giving a Homer Simpson "Dohhh!"

LOUD BOO! - (1 star out of 10)
BJG-Reviews3 December 2019
The stage curtains open ...

Oh ... my ... God. That was sooooooooo bad! LOL - Was this film written and directed by Tommy Wiseau? I swear it must have been. Morgan Fairchild headlines this atrocity of a movie when she is stalked by a psycho photographer. I should've known how bad it was going to be once the title song started playing - which was also pretty awful.

Jamie Douglas (Fairchild) is a successful, beautiful news anchor who is being stalked by an obsessed photographer named Derek. Unknown to her, he lives right next door and has the nasty habit of taking photos of her while she swims nude in her lit swimming pool. Soon, he takes things further and starts showing up everywhere that she goes - which includes the news station, shopping centers, and her very own bedroom. Though he professes his love for her, he doesn't mind slapping her around now and again just to get her attention. Finally, things come to a head in the inevitable life and death finale.

This had to be a comedy. Because I've never laughed so hard in my life. The script must have been written by a 6-year-old. Because the dialogue was some of the worst I've ever heard. The soundtrack must've composed by Schroeder from the Peanuts comic strip. No, I take that back. He would've done a better job of it. The acting was the worst I've seen next to "The Room" which WAS penned and directed by Tommy Wiseau. Morgan Fairchild has the emotional depth of a sun baked turd. And what was Colleen Camp thinking? She is SO much better than this.

I high recommend this movie - FOR THE TRASH BIN! Don't waste your precious time on any one second of it. Unless, you want to laugh out loud and incessantly. This gets the absolute worst rating of only 1 measly, little star out of 10. If I could rate it 0 or less, I would.

Just another stalker movie.
triple822 March 2004
This movie cracks me up! I saw it way back when it came out in the early eighties. This is a very cheezy movie that had it's creepy moments, to be sure but ultimately became just another stalker movie. The psychological depth needed to sustain a movie like this was missing and substituted were numerous shots of Morgan Fairchild looking sexy. This really wasn't a psychological thriller as much as a "thriller" that looked like it was made for the sole purpose of making fans of Morgan Fairchild drool. While Morgan Fairchild was and is, a very pretty woman, I tuned in to see a good suspense flick-this just got to bizarre in places-plenty of creepy music, flattering camera angles of Morgan and that's about it. All style, no substance. I had actually forgot about this movie until recently but just had to comment on it. It was also quite deceptive, when it was advertised, they actually made it look like it had a plot. I'm not saying it didn't(the whole stalker thing) but this was definetly more creepy and bizarre then deep and interesting-plus the movie really should have had as it's tag line: "Morgan Fairchild is hot" since that seemed like 90 percent of the movie's focus. I'd rate it a 3 out of 10.

Not even her body saved it
rainman62611 April 2006
I struggled to refrain from voting "1" on this. I still remember going to see this movie in the theater along with a college buddy. The thought of seeing Morgan Fairchild nude on the big screen had us glued to the movie. We were nothing short of disappointed. It was time and money we'll never get back in our lives. I think that guy still holds talking him into going against me. Now that I'm middle aged, I should perhaps view this again, but I doubt my disappointed reaction to Morgan Fairchild in the buff will be any different. Definitely a woman who looked better with clothes on. Without the potential of hot nude scenes, the movie was a 4 - maybe kind of an average thriller, probably more scary to women than men. It'd probably be a decent date movie (when one factors in the ulterior motives of getting a date scared) were it not for the nude scenes.

Cult Classic
southfljb6 June 2016
The Seduction showcases everything the early 1980's was in a 90 minute time capsule. The newest remastered DVD release presents the film in its original widescreen format and the picture and sound restoration rates an A plus.

Pro: Morgan Fairchild is her bitchy best in every scene in the movie and she is in 99% of the film. When she's not there is when the film seems not so shiny, but not to worry, those scenes only last a few seconds and poof back to more Morgan looking amazing.

Pro: Excellent photography, lighting and sound. They put some money into this movie to make it look as good as possible and they succeeded.

Pro: Andrew Stevens OMG he was so hot

Con: Michael Sarrazan, the worst actor ever in this film, totally miscast.

Con: Not enough Colleen Camp, the best performance in the film, sorry Morgan.

So I say if you want to see a campy 1980's movie see the Seduction, it really is not that bad.

A Stalker of the Worst Kind
Uriah4326 September 2013
"Jamie Douglas" (Morgan Fairchild) is a beautiful television newscaster working in Los Angeles and has two men in her life. The first is her boyfriend named "Brandon" (Michael Sarrazin) and the other is a voyeur named "Derek" (Andrew Stevens). As it turns out, Derek is a stalker of the worst possible kind and because of his obsession he begins to make Jamie's life a living hell. At any rate, rather than detailing the entire plot I will just say that there is some suspense here and there. Both Michael Sarrazin and Andrew Stevens manage to turn in mediocre performances but what keeps this film going is the presence of Morgan Fairchild who is quite provocative. Otherwise this movie would have been a complete bust. On that note, there are some weak moments as well with the meltdown scene at the studio possibly being the worst. That said, I rate this film as average. Not great. But not too bad either.

Nice Erotic Thriller
alienlegend21 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Morgan Fairchild sheds her clothes a lot in this so I think they knew what their audience wanted. I like the way the film escalates too until you get to a really crazy scene where she is having sex with her husband when he gets stabbed in the back by her stalker. That was a fantastic little moment. Is it over the top? Definitely and I wouldn't have it any other way. As far as erotic thrillers go, I don't think this one is bad at all. It isn't boring and right away you get nudity with her creepy neighbor spying on her as she swims naked. I can see why Joe Bob likes this flick and I have to agree with him.

Predictable TV thriller
Mikew300124 May 2002
There's nothing really special about this thriller about a maniac (Michael Sarrazin) terrorizing the woman of his dreams, a handsome TV moderator (Morgan Fairchild). The story is too predictable, and the psychological depths of the acting are really missing. Although there are some thrilling moments, is is not enough to maintain a thriller for 104 minutes. Even the score of Lalo Schifrin, usually a specialist for breath-taking thrillers and action movies, is rather boring. You won't miss much except for Morgan Fairchild showing her nice figure in every occasion.

A really enjoyable movie
rohanhanderson29 July 2023
Only just saw this for the first time, some 40 years after it was made. Though clearly a product of its time, this is a really enjoyable movie. The negative reviews nearly put me off watching it, but I've noticed many times before that I often disagree with such reviews. I'm not sure what people were expecting here? A Hollywood blockbuster, or maybe a Hitchcock-type film? I found the story to be interesting and well acted (I thought Morgan Fairchild was really good, as were the rest of the cast). There is a lot of talk about the nudity, but it wasn't exactly hard core. It was tastefully done, especially by today's standards. I reckon this movie is definitely worth a watch if you're into the films of the early 80s like me.

No Foreplay
arthurconnor13 October 2020
A newscaster is stalked by her number one fan who just won't take "no" for an answer. After he's broken into her house and threatened her friends, she tries to get a restraining order out on him, but the police practically sneer at her for even making such a suggestion. At her wit's end, she gets herself and gun and gets ready for the day where she'll have to take matters into her own hand.

The Seduction is a beautifully shot film and there are a few moments of well orchestrated tension and suspense, but for a thriller, it's not as thrilling as it could be and the stakes seem to be pretty low for a majority of the film. This crazed stalker breaks into the protagonist's house fairly early into the film and snaps away at her with his camera and this is a scene that feels like it should have been placed way later into the film as a moment where the camel's back was broken. It might have been more effective if this stalker innocently and insidiously placed himself more into the lead's life, sending her gifts and flowers, befriending her friends, and calling her up until she finally turns him down definitively and he snaps.

There's not enough seduction in The Seduction. It wants to get right to the sex and skip the foreplay and that hurts the film. It's still entertaining and Morgan Fairchild has never looked more beautiful, but you can't help but think about what it could have been.

So Bad It's Funny...
Isaac58555 December 2005
Just like VALLEY OF THE DOLLS and THE LUCKY LADY, 1982's THE SEDUCTION is one of those movies that is so bad that it is funny. It is funny but not to the point of multiple viewings, like DOLLS, it's funny once and that's it. Morgan Fairchild (in one of the worst performances by an actress in a 1980's film) plays a television anchorwoman who gets stalked by a psycho (Andrew Stevens, in an equally bad performance). This incredibly tired plot has been done so many times and it has been done so much better than this. Fairchild can't act and Stevens is way over the top. Michael Sarrazin is wasted as Fairchild's boyfriend and Vince Edwards is wooden as a police office to whom Sarrazin goes to for help. Maybe one of the ten worst films ever made. Unless you have wet dreams about Morgan Fairchild, don't bother.
