Sex & Nudity

  • Just woman in bikinis not enough to make it mild moderate or severe
  • No nudity whatsoever. There are a few beach scenes with females in bathing suits and bikinis, as well as males in swim trunks without shirts. In one scene, a female is seen running with her breast bouncing, but nothing crude, as she is wearing a fairly covering bikini top.

Violence & Gore

  • Blood on a few death scenes. Bodies being eaten, but the bodies are VERY CLEARLY fake. Shark eating meat baited on hook.
  • Severed hand. Not bloody.
  • Man's legs get bitten off. An extremely small amount of blood. Not graphic.
  • A man gets slapped in the face.
  • Shark blows up under water. Some blood.
  • A man punches another man.
  • A man gets bitten in half. Extremely small amount of blood.

Profanity

  • 1 use of flipping off, 1 use damn
  • Maybe a swear word or two, very few. Child friendly dialog.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The Shark's sudden apperance may scary younger audiences
  • Shark attacks, on people and property, but nothing too scary or violent. The movie is very light on violence, blood, and gore. If your child wants to watch a horror shark movie, this is a good starter film for younger kiddos.
  • This movie is not scary or violent at all.
