  • While trying to feed an animal a grape, the husband is bitten hard on the hand by the animal.
  • The couple has a physical altercation. She slaps him, then he throws her to the ground. She knees him in the crotch.
  • The husband frequently walks around armed with a gun with a scope. In one scene his harpoon gun misfires and nearly hits the wife.
  • The husband fires two bullets into the body of the seemingly dead sea creature. Blood oozes from the wounds.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • While swimming, the husband is approached by a large, unidentified creature.
  • The couple sees a van submerged in the water, and when the husband swims down to it, he finds the body of a woman inside.
  • The couple buries a large sea creature, believing it to be dead. Later they see that it has made its way partly out of the grave, but they just leave it there on the beach despite it being alive.
  • The wife destroys an eagle's egg (we see the eagle distressed) by throwing it against a tree. This act is later connected to the fact that she had an abortion.
  • While trying to escape the beach in the van, the wife is assailed by different creatures. Birds crash into the windshield (appearing to leave behind blood and/or droppings).
