With “The Bachelorette” Charity Lawson’s journey for love concluding with a heartfelt engagement to Dotun Olubeko, Lawson is ready to pass the baton onto the franchise’s next leading man, Joey Graziadei, whose season of “The Bachelor” will debut in 2024 on ABC.
While Lawson said she and Olubeko are “so excited” to tune into Graziadei’s season, she encouraged Graziadei to take the “exhausting” process “moment by moment” and cautioned him not to look “too far down the road” as “things can change in a split second.”
“Joey, as you guys have seen, is just a very intentional person, and he’s very charismatic, but also very, very loving and has a lot of love to give,” Lawson told TheWrap. “I think if anything he’ll see [that] as he embarks on this whole new journey, [it’s] not easy in any way [and] is going to require that intentionality from start to the very end.

“I was always interested in the family dynamic because I come from a musical family,” blockbuster producer Frank Marshall tells us on what drew him to direct the HBO documentary The Bee Gees: How Can You Mend a Broken Heart.
“I was always interested in what made them tick. Until I examined their career and journey, I had no idea what an incredible story it was,” says Marshall, “They transcended five decades, and somehow they stayed together over these five decades and kept reinventing themselves.”
“People think about them as kind of lightweights and they’re really heavyweights,” adds Marshall who has executive produced such docus as 2018’s What Haunts Us and produced Alex Gibney’s 2013 nonfiction feature The Armstrong Lie.
Of the myriad moments which Marshall explores in How Can You Mend a Broken Heart is the success behind Saturday Night Fever, both the 1977 film, which went on to...

He first appeared in the original production of “Grease” in the supporting role of “Doody.” (He would later go on to star in the lead role of Danny Zuko when the film version was made.) Jafar Panahi has been banned from making movies by the Iranian government for 20 years, but that didn't stop him from winning the Golden Bear for his competition entry "Taxi" today at the Berlin International Film Festival. In the movie, Panahi's third feature produced since the government ban, the director films himself driving a cab around Tehran and capturing his interactions with various passengers, including members of his family. "Moment by moment, the viewer is in a constant state of negotiation with what they are to believe as real," wrote Kevin B. Lee in his review for Indiewire early in the festival. "This aligns perfectly with Panahi's position as a cinematic taxi driver navigating his way through the film, both spatially and dramatically." Following the debut performance of Moment by Moment at New York's 54 Below in 2013, the Broadway-studded cast of Alexander Sage Oyen's song cycle are heading into the studio later this month to produce an original cast recording. Moment by Moment, which also received its international debut in Thailand in 2013, is a hilarious and authentic look at what it means to be a young adult in a tech-driven, pup-culture-centric, entirely neurotic America. Songs include I Don't Want to Lie, The Bro Duet and Funny.
