- Dennis pulls down his pants in front of guards. No frontal nudity seen, his butt seen
- A prepubescent boy's penis and scrotum is clearly seen as he is about to urinate.
- A naked woman is standing up bathing as a fully clothed man enters the room. Her breasts and nipples and butt are shown briefly then she turns around and walks toward the camera completely nude (full-frontal - head to toe). Momentarily female full frontal nudity is naturally presented to the viewer including breasts, nipples and blonde pubic hair.
Violence & Gore

- Several people are attacked by the Jabberwocky. You do not see the attack, but the beast drops their remains into camera view. The bones are bloody and have been stripped of their flesh, leaving only the head intact.
- A man has cut his own foot off. During an extended scene, you are offered multiple views of the bloody stump with the foot lying next to it, along with the knife. The man is not in noticeable pain, and views this as a smart move for a beggar.
- A man is decapitated off screen. Later, his head is seen lying on the ground, which is then kicked off screen and later tossed away when someone realizes they are holding it.
- Many knights are killed in a jousting tournament, mostly off screen.
- During the jousting tournament, the spectators are progressively covered in more and more blood, splashing onto them from the knights.
- A knight in armour is cut in two down the middle, with some blood splashing up.

- The "F" word is heard once out loud, and another time obviously mouthed (though unvoiced or edited out) by the squire talking to Michael Palin's character about the night vigil.
