Sex & Nudity

  • A cartoon female dancer is seen wearing a very skimpy outfit that barely reveals her crotch and butt, and her nipples can sometimes be seen.

Violence & Gore

  • A ship gets destroyed during a violent storm in the open seas. Gulliver becomes the only survivor.
  • In some scenes throughout the entire film, Gulliver (Richard Harris) is hit by multiple arrows fired by Lilliputian guards. He remains fully intact like before.
  • Lilliput puts three Lilliputian guards into his vest pocket, and is gonna put one guard into his mouth when he stops right there.
  • Gulliver fires his gun into the air, and explains in mildly manner how dangerous such item is.
  • A general tells several guards that they are to be executed for disobeying orders.
  • Two cartoon character attempt to fire a "giantic" gun at Gulliver. It only end with comedy as an animated bullet only rolls out.
  • During a flashback scene that tells the story about how a war was started, a finger is briefly seen cut with a knife by accident for an egg. But nothing graphic is shown since it's shown in sepia-colored illustrations.
  • Several mild references to killing somebody, such as crushing some people like ants, and poisoning someone's eyes.

Profanity

  • Just a few mild insults, including "idiot".

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • A male character drinks a cup of beer.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • SPOILER ALERT: The live action giant who just appears in front of Gulliver without any warning, can frighten some very small kids. However, the film just ends right there, before anything could happen (freeze framing on a rather dismayed Gulliver). Those familiar with the literary story will realise the significance of the scene (a reference to Gulliver's next adventure), but those who are not could find it a bit abrupt and sinister.
