Sex & Nudity

  • A 12-year-old Prostitute plays an important role in this movie.
  • A man says he has to clean the semen out of the back of his Taxi.
  • One man vulgarly speaks about "What a .45 Magnum Pistol would do to a woman's "pussy."
  • There is a disturbing scene where a gangster dances with and gropes a 12 year old girl. It is heavily implied that he has been raping and molesting her
  • Some sexual references are bold, using the word "pussy" in a couple of scenes.
  • Although there is no clear nudity in the movie besides a VERY quick glimpse at a female rear. Sex is implied (though never shown)
  • A pimp tells a man all the type of things he can do to a 12 year old prostitute. This exchange of dialogue is sexually explicit and disturbing since the man is talking about a child.
  • Close to the beginning of the movie, a scene where a man goes into a porn theater. The screen is blurred so you can't see anything clearly.

Violence & Gore

  • A man has his fingers blown off by a gun. This is very graphic although brief.
  • A man is shot in the face several times with a small caliber semi-automatic pistol. The bullet strikes are shown in graphic but brief detail.
  • A man is stabbed through the hand with a knife, he screams in pain. This is very graphic and bloody but brief.
  • A man is shot through the head with a pistol that is pressed directly against his face, blood and possibly some brain matter splatters onto the wall behind him. (probably the most graphic part)
  • This movie contains highly realistic and graphic violence but it is infrequent.
  • This film really isn't that violent until the end where it becomes unexpectedly and realistically graphic.
  • There is almost no violence in this film until it's final sequence where the violence in cranked up to eleven. There are overwhelming amounts of blood soaking the walls, gore, shrieks of pain, and ruthless murder in this final sequence. After the scene concludes, extensive shots of the walls and floors soaked with blood are shown which is very gross and hard to look at.
  • 11/12+ is a suitable minimum age of watching, but I don't recommend lower than that. 12+, like in France, or VM14 like in Italy. Guns and brutal, bloody killing and taking law in your own hands is not a good combination for most children under 11. When you are like 11/12, things are different. That's just the way it is.
  • A man shoots another man in the stomach. He is later shot again in the chest and we briefly see a circle of blood on his shirt.
  • We see a bloody wall, bloody footprints, another wall that is particularly gore-covered, and a few gory corpses. This is very graphic.

Profanity

  • 34 uses of "fuck", 9 uses of "shit", 3 uses of "hell", 2 uses of "bastard", 5 uses of "son of a bitch", 4 uses of "bitch", 6 uses of "goddamn", 8 uses of "damn", 1 use of "Jesus Christ", 1 use of "cunts", 5 uses of "pussy".

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • The protagonist regularly takes pills presumed to be amphetamines and drinks a bottle of alcohol he carries when walking down the street.
  • A 12-year-old girl briefly smokes a cigarette and uses it as a timer.
  • An illegal firearm dealer offers the protagonist drugs, but the protagonist does not accept any.
  • Characters drink and smoke.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The movie portrays a man's declining sanity as he deals with existentialism. His actions throughout are extremely disturbing and throughout the movie he becomes more unhinged and disturbed.
  • This movie contains some very graphic and bloody violence.
