An entertaining comedy!

A Polish editor sends away his wife and kids and is hoping for a peaceful weekend. His night passes uneventfully, until the lights fuse. As he fixes them, a Gypsy knocks at his window. She predicts, amongst other things, that he will kill a man with brown hair accidentally the next evening. The next day is filled with surprises, as each of the Gypsy's predictions come true. The hero becomes more and more uneasy. Then, the evening comes, and a knock sounds at his door. (But it is only two carol singers whom he pays money willingly.) After sending them away, he sits down, and as he is about to relax, he hears a noise. He looks up, and sees....

This is overall an amazing comedy, which is really entertaining. This is my favourite Polish comedy.

Outstanding Polish Comedy!

From my point of view, and I'm polish, I see that Polish movies were way better back in time then how plosih movies are today! The actors were next level, a level of actors that just doesn't excist today. If you like old-style actors then this movie is a movie you should watch. This movie is kind of a thriller-like movie with a lot of comedy. Funny how actors played back in time. The music were catchy and the action were suspenseful and it hold you right on. We got also many random scenes from the town the main characters are living in, that somehow laps together a great movie. The random scenes sometimes has nothing to do with the plot, but that is what made it funny and different. The length of the movie was perfect, and it was complete and finished. The language and dialogues was on a way different level that there are today. The dialogues were funny, clever, with high value. If you want to watch a good polish movie, you should definitely watch this one. It's clever, funny, you can feel the atmosphere of old movies, and if you like actors like Wojciech Pokora, then this is one of the movies you should watch. Highly Recommended!
