- In the beginning of the film a woman dances, a bare breast is briefly seen. Very frank (locker room) talk about a girl's virginity. A naked photograph, non explicit.
- One of the central storylines centres around a man's inability to consummate his third marriage. Therefore, there are multiple references to sex and the man's inability to get an erection.
- On the wedding night of a young girl a mother gives her sexual advice whilst undressing her. She strips naked and one of her breasts is visible for about 5 seconds. The man strips to his trousers and then enters. The scene cuts away.
- They try again later and the woman is shown retreating from her husband. Her buttocks appear on-screen but she's wearing a sheet over the upper half of her body.
- A couple of men break into a house and corner a girl whilst she screams. The scene cuts away but it is implied that they raped her.
