A routine police force tale
searchanddestroy-111 January 2009
Warning: Spoilers
Adapted from Joseph Wambaugh's novels, this TV movie brings nothing more to Police Story series, shot during the 70's. The routine daily police force procedures, their usual cases they have to solve. In one episode of Police Story, for instance, you could watch the cops investigate or step in three or four situations.

It's not bad however. Not uninteresting at all. Realistic. Police life from the inside. Their feelings, their fears, their problems.

In this TV movie, we can find Lloyd Bridges at his best, in the lead character, a vet cop who has to solve a murder, rape and robbery case. Nothing unusual. But good sequences, as this one, with a golf player who throws his ball on cars, in the middle of the traffic !!! Very amusing indeed. And not forget Bridges' relationships with some women.
