Another year, another WrestleMania, and once again the WWE have put together their undeniably impressive Showcase of the Immortals, this year in Dallas, Texas.
Kicking off, as it did last year, with a seven man ladder match for the Intercontinental Title, Kevin Owens, Dolph Ziggler, The Miz, Sami Zayn, Stardust, Sin Cara and Zack Ryder put on a great match, delivering plenty of bumps and really setting the seeds for the ongoing Owens / Zayn feud now that both men are established on the main roster.
Next up was Aj Styles’s Mania debut against Chris Jericho, with both men giving their all but not quite creating the synergy that might be expected from two top performers. That said, Styles was impressive and will surely be a lot higher up the bill for Wm Xxxiii next year.
The ever popular New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods) took on the League of Nations (Sheamus,...

The in-flight retailer fell victim to the “increased use of electronic devices on planes,” says CFO, and travelers including Chrissy Teigen are not happy
SkyMall Magazine, which for years has tempted airline passengers with outlandish products such as wind surfing skateboards and dog raincoats, filed for bankruptcy on Friday.
“With the increased use of electronic devices on planes, fewer people browsed the SkyMall in-flight catalog,” said Scott Wiley, Chief Financial Officer of SkyMall parent company Xhibit, in the filing.

Tune in to Monday Night Raw and you will inevitably hear Michael Cole tout the lineage of a second- or third-generation superstar. Legacies are a big part of professional wrestling right now. WWE currently is chock-full of wrestlers whose fathers competed in the squared circle (although some of them are never referenced): Randy Orton, Curtis Axel, the Usos, Goldust, Stardust, Bo Dallas, Bray Wyatt, Diego, The Rock and Roman Reigns. If you look at the roster about a year ago, you could add Camacho, Alberto Del Rio, Road Dogg and Ted Dibiase to that list.
While second-generation wrestlers are often highly touted due to their lineage, the distinction is not limited to the men. There are a significant number of women who followed their fathers (and in some cases, their mothers) into the world of professional wrestling. Some have made their way to WWE and are currently competing on Raw and Smackdown,...

2K Games
This time of year is a great one for those who enjoy pro wrestling and video games. This year is even more special because WWE 2K15 will make its debut on the current generation of consoles PS4 and Xbox One. With new consoles come better graphics along with more processing power to allow the games to do even more than was ever done before. WWE 2K15 will be the second game under the umbrella of 2K Sports after several years of being published through Thq. While the game is already out for the PS3 and Xbox 360, the wait for the PS4 and Xbox One is not too far away as it will be released on November 18th.
The development of an annually-released title is a year-round process. Even before this year’s game ships out, work is already being done for next year’s game. Due to this,...

Having tackled Sherlock and Khan over the past few years, Benedict Cumberbatch is certainly no stranger to playing iconic roles. And he's just added one more.
Cumberbatch finally gives us a taste of dragon Smaug in "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug," out Friday, December 13. While Cumberbatch can't really "play" the CGI dragon on screen, the English actor was instrumental in Smaug's creation -- and, of course, also voices the mythical creature.
Whether or not you've seen Cumberbatch on the big screen or the stage of late (it's hard to miss him!), there's still much to know about this rising star. From his African abduction to his mutation, here are 19 things you probably don't know about Benedict Cumberbatch.
1. While on location in South Africa for "To the Ends of the Earth" (2005), Cumberbatch experienced a horrific carjacking in which he was kidnapped, but talked his way into getting released. He subsequently...
