Sex & Nudity

  • A mild kiss or two. There is discussion about a man marrying a woman and having children.

  • The aftermath of a car crash is seen.
  • Two characters are riding on a boat, one gets hit over the head with a branch, they both fall in the water and die.
  • A corpse is seen with bruise on it's head.
  • Hanging is discussed in graphic detail and a man is asked to photograph it.
  • A man is hanged, his legs are seen twitching. A photo and a film is later seen of the execution.
  • A man is seen cleaning the floor and complains about being starved by his employer, his employer screams at him and verbally torments him.
  • A man is confronted with having tuberculosis and having around two days left.
  • A man is seen dying from a disease, coughing and screaming.
  • A man's face is burned by an acidic substance.
  • A man is strapped to a chair and electrocuted. He survives.
  • A woman is decapitated with a guillotine.
  • A man is entrapped in a glass chamber and gets gassed.
  • Gas is ignited and explodes, killing one of the people inside the room.
  • A man gets hit by two cars, but the camera cuts away before we could see anything.

Profanity

  • No cussing whatsoever, although there's a scene with a man threatening and verbally tormenting another man.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • A shelf with bottles (presumably alcohol) is seen, other than that nothing else.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • There is a public hanging and we later see the executed person's face in close-up.
  • A blue ghost-like creature is seen screaming.
  • Several death scenes, although non-graphic, they can be a bit disturbing.
