Sexual healing?...a menage a trois goes horribly wrong.
ccmiller149226 January 2007
Rootless Vietnam vet (Braeden) assists a drunk old man one night by driving him home in the man's farm truck and is invited to spend the night by the man's much younger wife. The next day, as they all get acquainted, Braeden is offered a job on the place as a man-of-all work, of which there is plenty. At a leisurely pace, the trio becomes a menage a trois. The older man has serious guilt issues about an accident that killed his son and has become impotent which explains his apparent complacency about encouraging Braeden to become intimate with his young wife (Daly). A kind of sexual healing is intended, but as the affair progresses it brings out the worst in all three, eventually erupting in seething resentments and murderous rage. The viewer will start out liking these characters but will gradually come to dislike them. Recommended only for fans of studly Braeden who will enjoy seeing him frequently shirtless and sans mustache.

YIEEEEEEE! EVERYBODY'S GETTIN' ON ATOP TRIGGER!

This amazingly bad film stars a young Tyne Daly who's married to an older farmer dude who ain't got no wind in his windsock, dig?

So since Tyne ain't gettin' any she gets it on with a young drifter played by Eric B. This leads up to one of the most twisted love scenes in the history of cinema. Tyne and Eric get it on ON A HORSE. I bet most woulda thought that wasn't humanly possible, or even horsely possible.

There are some hilariously bad scenes. Like the part where Tyne's limpo hubby starts goin' psycho when he learns his young wife is gettin' it on wit a younger, more virile Aryan studboy. So what does the hubby do? He gets so ticked off when he's doin' chores on his crapola farm that HE LOPS OFF A LIVE CHICKEN'S HEAD. I can't be sure if the lop scene was faked but it sure as sheat looked like a real cluck, Daddy Warbucks.

And the climax where one of the three main characters gets smoked is so lame it's a laff riot. Yes, The Adulteress. The one movie Tyne Daly wishes she could live down. Not to mention everyone else involved with this flick.
