Nikolai Pastukhov
Kirpianuscus19 July 2017
he is the most important piece of this adaptation of Pushkin text. his admirable performance, his simplicity who gives force and soul and so many nuances to a Russian story who, at the first sigh, reminds so many others. a film about a way, a moment, memories and return, a story of a poor father and the last way as the last answer. all the virtues of the adaptations of the period are present. the poetry of locations, the songs as voices of soul, the performances as precise drawings, the conquest of the traces of past. as bonus - a young Nikita Mikhalkov . but, after so many years from the first view of film, the work of Nikolai Pastukhov for me, remains the axis. maybe, because it is part of a long chain of performances and characters and he reflects the essence of a hidden Russia who becomes useful at the each new meet.
