Teruo Ishii's disturbing Thriller/Drama
chribren8 September 2013
"Shameless: Abnormal and Abusive Love" is a Thriller/Drama-film from 1969, directed by Teruo Ishii and produced by Toei Company.

WARNING: This film is NOT to be viewed to children under 18!

The movie's basic plot focuses mainly on a beautiful woman named Noriko (played by Yukie Kagawa), who's boyfriend is (sadly) raping and mistreating her constantly. As Noriko is together with an another man, the question is: Will she ever get loose from this abusive boyfriend, hence the English title of this movie?

Having recently watched this film just a few minutes ago, this film is somehow disturbing judging by the realistic scenes of how the boyfriend is treating Noriko. Great choreography in some of these scenes. Director Teruo Ishii seems to knew what he was doing at the time. Somewhat rare movie, but as far as I know, this film has been released on DVD in Germany, as well as the film's homeland Japan.

Some other films by Teruo Ishii and Toei Company to name include: "Yakuza's Law", "The Joy of Torture", "Inferno of Torture" and "Blind Woman's Curse".
