So-so Spanish comedy with splendid cast in a rather slight story well starred by the two greatest comedians

Estudio-amueblado-2 is a funny and fun Spanish comedy with a top-notch cast formed by the biggest hilarious actors from the sixties and Seventies . Stars Miguel Aguirrezabala and Ramón Fontecha are two bank employees in which a sophisticated computer system has just been installed . They then decide to use it to improve their history of sexual conquests. Later on , Ramón Fontecha (José Luis López Vázquez) and Miguel Aguirrezabala (Fernando Fernán Gómez) rent a studio to a landlady (Guadalupe Muñoz Sampedro) with the aim of taking dates with beautiful women (Elisa Montés , Amparo Soler Leal , Esperanza Roy , Soledad Miranda, Greta Hohfeld). To do this, they seek help on the new computer at work , used to guide them in compatibility with their potential partners . But things get worse , it not as easy as they seem .

Sexy and ironic comedy that unites two great actors of 60s, 70s and 80s , Fernando Fernán Gómez and José Luis López Vázquez , playing two botcher bank employees who neither short nor lazy decide use a computer to determine the girls for their sexual affairs in their newly hired flat and with the aim of finding a partner and removing their love-sexual frustrations . Typical Spanish comedy with a starring duo in a rather plain and simple story about maturity , in which two single men in their forties try several flirts but things go wrong . This film exposes and questions the cliché of the Spanish macho by showing mature men whose charm , despite what they believe , has disappeared. What a pity that the rhythm is also irregular and the technological satire suggested at the beginning is really wasted . And being full of absurdness , frivolity , egoism , duplicity and deceits . It is an average and disconcerting picture and it lacks sparkle , mayhem and madness of the other Spanish comedies , adding an embarrassing script written by Jaime Silas and José María Forqué himself . The protagonists are the ordinary anti-heroes in a "buddy comedy" style , with contrasting personalities in a plot with room for irony , farce , silliness , counterpoint , ridiculous situations and hoax . Well played by Fernando Fernán Gómez and José Luis López Vázquez giving a likable acting in their usual style with special incidence of gestural humor that accentuates the shyness and clumsiness in the character's erotic encounters . And including a plethora of familiar secondaries , such as : Amparo Soler Leal, Esperanza Roy , Soledad Miranda , Elisa Montés , Luis Peña, Guadalupe Muñoz Sampedro , Manuel Alexandre, Félix Dafauce, Antonio Mayans, José Orjas , among others. A mediocre movie with silly events and other more fortunate ones , such as Fernán Gómez and his "gymnastic" flirt with the gorgeous unknown called Greta Hohfeld as Brigitte.

It contains an evocative musical score by Adolfo Waitzman , including song : Looking Back performed by Los Buenos . As well as an atmospheric cinematography by Juan Marine , shot on various locations in Burgos, Castilla y León, Córdoba, Andalucía,Madrid, Sevilla, Andalucía and specially Girona, Catalonia, Spain . The motion picture was regularly made by José Maria Forqué, though the film has comical ups and downs, with some lengthy situations that make it lose its sympathy . Forqué had a particular penchant for the Spanish comedy and directed a lot of movies in all kinds of genres , such as : Comedy : the classical Atraco a las 3 , un millón en la basura , Maribel y la extraña familia , La becerrada , Las que tienen que servir , La Vil Seduccion , Madrid Costa Fleming , Pecados conyugales . Thriller : 091 policia al habla , Tarots . Softcore : No es nada mama es solo un juego , La mujer de la tierra caliente . Giallo : El Ojo Del huracán . Science Fiction : Neus 2431 , among others . Rating 4,5/10 . The picture will appeal to Spanish comedy films aficionados . Only for José Luis López Vázquez and Fernando Frnán Gómez fans.
