A very average film about recent couples in the stressful situation of the first day of marriage.

In a church in Madrid, three marriages are celebrated simultaneously, or rather, four, because twenty years ago another couple got married here, Miguel and Marta, who did not have their honeymoon and now, after having had several children, decide to fulfill their the tradition. The couples are the following: the innocent ones, by Concha Velasco and Alfredo Landa; Don Juan and the decent wife, by Antonio Ozores and Patricia Nigel, in this story the seducer Antonio attempts to flirt foreign girls while he's on a train along with his modest and repressed new wife. The third couple is formed by Manolo Codeso, Marisol Ayuso who along their co-workers and friends Tomás Zori, Fernando Santos follow them throughout in order to sign an urban planning contract with the businessman Roberto Camardiel. The mature couple is played by Eduardo Fajardo and Luchy Soto. The elderly people celebrating their silver wedding aboard a boat, but during the entire journey they are talking and worrying about their children, while they sit at a table with the also older couple made up of José Orjas and Guadalupe Muñoz Sampedro.

A traditional film about three weddings and another couple celebrating their silver wedding, and the subsequent nervous, tension and other sentimental incidents that the recent marriages entail for the wedding night. This is a run-of-the-mill film in the sixties and seventies style with the usual modest means and dealing with ordinary couples with their desires, concerns and peculiar situations that arise when for 'the just married' the wedding night takes place. There are some gags and likeable set pieces but the result is quite monotonous and nothing special.

¨Cuatro noches de boda¨(1969) belongs to a trilogy directed by Mariano Ozores about the life of married couples, which also includes ¨Crónica de nueve meses¨ (1967), ¨Después de los nueve meses¨ (1970) in which the stork is about to arrive with their babies.

Unfortunately, all the performers participating in this comedy have died -recent death of Concha Velasco- with the exception for Marisol Ayuso who continues to perform, in fact this same year she acted in "Mi otro Jon" along with the other very veterans of the 60s who are still alive: Maria José Alfonso and Gemma Cuervo.

The main interest in the film is to guess which supporting actor will appear in the next frame, these include the following: Guadalupe Muñoz Sampedro, Mari Carmen Prendes, José Orjas, Mary Begoña, Trini Alonso, María Isbert, Manuel Alexandre, Jose Luis Coll, Goyo Lebrero, Luis Barbero , Fernanda Hurtado, Carmen Martínez Sierra (who lived 108 years old) , presenter Joaquín Prat, Roberto Camardiel and the comical trio: Tomás Zori, Fernando Santos and Manolo Codeso, among others.

This Spanish motion picture was regularly directed by Mariano Ozores (born in 1926). It resulted to be very mediocre and failed at boxoffice. Mariano directed a large number of comedies and in 1964 shot a Sci-fi flick : La hora incognita . As Mariano Ozores wrote , produced and directed the former movie, but was a real flop and he was bankrupt. Then Mariano promised at the future only to make comedies. Although it won prize of the National Syndicate of Spectacle to best actor José Luis Ozores and Best artistic Achievement. Mariano recently won a Goya Award (2016) to his long and fruitful career. Ozores made with two famous comedians , -Fernando Esteso and Andres Pajares- several successful films , as they had various years partnership between the two leads , such as ¨Agitese Antes Usarla¨ , ¨Al Este Del Oeste¨, ¨Los Liantes¨, ¨Los Energeticos¨, ¨La Lola Lleva Al Huerto¨ , ¨El Currante¨ , ¨El Hijo Del Cura¨...these films are filled with humor that still holds up , especially for those not easily offended . Mariano directed 93 films , most of them were comedies , though made some dramas as "Alegre Juventud" and "Las Dos y Media y veneno" with José Luis Ozores. Mariano directed a lot of comedies for the greatest Spanish comedians as Paco Martinez Soria , José Luis López Vázquez , Lina Morgan , Alfredo Landa , Jose Sacristán and the successful duo : Fernando Esteso and Andrés Pajares.
