- As a female hostage unbuttons her dress a bit and washes in the desert, Confederate soldiers stand and stare at her in a demeaning manner. As they stop at a remote Mexican saloon briefly, a Confederate captain rips the hostage's dress, spurs her back and is implied to rape her to exact revenge on her fiancé, a Union major who kept the Confederate soldiers captive as prisoners of war.
