    • Trivia
This adaptation of George Orwell's novel used what was essentially the same script (by Nigel Kneale) as the legendary 1954 BBC adaptation. However, whereas the earlier version had caused huge controversy and a nationwide sensation, this version, whilst respectfully reviewed, caused little comment.
