A father and a mother want to go on vacation by themselves,..
J@sper.dk19 December 1998
...their two girls have other plans and in order to get rid of the husbands mother-in-law, they buy a caravan/camper trailer. But everything goes wrong and they end up being five people having to spend their vacation together in a very confined space. As if it wasn't enough their neighbour from home puts up his tent next to their caravan.

This movie might have been funny when it came out in 1965, but now (Dec. 1998) it's quite awful. However, if you're Danish, and you miss some of the fine old Danish actors who perform in this movie, I guess it's alright to see it (I did !?!)...

Sponsored by Scandinavian tobacco and filmed like a parody of your average super 8 holiday movie. Sadly this is not a parody, but a somewhat serious attempt at a comical movie about danish camping life in the 60ies.

Fun in all its ineptitude, but marred by a dub as awful as the bad spaghetti westerns or your average awkward Kung-Fu movie... and there is musical interludes as well.

It is difficult to fathom that this is a movie shown in danish movie theaters in the 60ies. Thankfully the two leads are great actors who have done a lot of other work far superior to this. Otherwise this could have been a career killer.
