Sex & Nudity

  • A woman is wearing a slight cleavage in one scene
  • A teenage girl sits down on a bed with her 20 year old boyfriend. There is a vague implication that they will be intimate with each other.
  • A young man goes to bar in which scantily clad women, presumably prostitutes, proposition him. He leaves with one of them.
  • Later she is shown in bed, evidently naked under a blanket that just barely covers her chest, as he leaves. It is implied that they just had sex.

Violence & Gore

  • A character is drafted for a war in Algeria and mentions that several soldiers died and that a grenade exploded near him, but no violence is actually shown on screen.

Profanity

  • 1 use of shit and 2 uses of arse in the later half of the movie. Nothing else.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • It's the 1950s/1960s in Europe. Everyone is smoking and drinking.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Nothing frightening, but several emotional scenes. Some of them are sad.
