The lads and lasses and Mr. Schallert shine!
JohnHowardReid8 June 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Whatever this film's shortcomings -- and they are multitudinous, e.g. routine, somewhat TV-inspired direction with the usual irritatingly clumsy insertion of totally unnecessary close-ups, plus an over- talkative script, minimal production values and distressingly amateurish performances -- this movie does have one redeemingly over- riding feature, namely the three principal ladies who are all mighty attractive young lasses, whose charms no amount of inept direction can pall, or poor photography diminish.

A pity the movie is also saddled with J. Pat O'Malley in its leading role. Considerably less of Mr. O'Malley would improve the picture no end. Fortunately, the two lads are not bad. The older is a bit stiff, but the younger is quite agreeable. There's also a very pleasant portrayal by William Schallert who shines bright as the bogus preacher.
