Fateci... un pò di carità!
RainbowVic21 January 2022
Another funny comedy with the always funny Totò and directed by famed movie director Sergio Corbucci (creator of Django!). In this adventure Totò plays a sort-of parody of the Manzoni's character Monaca di Monza, plays a simple villageman that, mistaken for a priest, it should celebrate the wedding of a famous and important prince. Macario is the sidekick of the legendary king of laughs, Nino Taranto is in here too and a young Adriano Celentano make a little surprise cameo as a false priest singing about charity with his friend Don Backy. Truly a charming and fun comedy, only for laughs. The ''Ora Pro Nobis'' scene is truly the best part of the movie!

A weak comedy with Toto!

It's not one of Toto's best movies, it's just a comedy attempt, without any merit. The only funny moment is when Toto says "the prayer": Sophia Loren, Ora Pro Nobis, Brigitte Bardot, Ora Pro Nobis, De Profundis, Autobus... Lisa Gastoni is very young and beautiful, and Don Backy and Adriano Celentano, very young too, are funny, in a short appearance, singing a song.
